All inspired from AC: Last Raven.

We have rifles, 'chineguns, and most of the solid shell weapons already in BW.


Back Weapons:

Attatched to the back, and if possible, can be used with arm weapons, but the arm weapon's alt fire is replaced by the back unit fire.

Some examples.

Back cannons: Back units which fire Mortar/Grenade shells. No aim or heat seaking, but faster cooling and larger clip makes up for that.

Missile units: Different varieties.

Single: One seek missile.
Tri-Fire: Three seek missiles, with slightly lower pwr average.
Multi-Lock:4-6 missile that lock on to multiple random targets. Lower pwr average if used on same target.
Micro: Numerous (Maybe 10) seek missiles that attack one target. Low pwr average.
Spammage: packs of non heat seeking straight missiles with a crappy pwr average, but has sheer numbers (BTW, the power has to suck enough so that it's balanced to number of missiles. Find a suitable formula)

Rocket Unit: single shot units with massive radius. Can be considered a Super Weap.

Torpedo unit: it falls to the ground and glides on the floor to chase a target. Sets people on fire, but primary hit does little damage. Fire damage varies depending on precision.

EMP unit: Single shot plasma cannon mounted on the back. takes 5 seconds to fire. A huge purple sphere of EMP matter is fired. anything in its radius that is energy/plasma (even when in a players possesion) will jam and burn for a certain amount of time (If this makes it, the devs can decide the time). Players wielding these energy/plasma weaps will get burnt and electrocuted for a certain extent. Super weapon.

Plasma unit: Rapid fire plasma unit with sucky firepower, but fast firing rate.

Left arm weapons: If the engine can provide this, there should be a left arm weapon mounted onto the left arm that can be paired up with any weapon except for G5s, Railguns, or Skrith Arm Weapons. If used with a 2 hand weapon, I think there should be an animation that shows the left arm temporarily move from its regular position and use the Left arm weapon (providing its not dual or akimbo). Have a key to assign function.

Non-dual/akimbo weapons:

Thrust claws: Player pulls back left arm and thrusts this weapon towards the target. Causes massive damage, but can be canceled if wielder gets hit in the middle of thrusting (which should be a few seconds). If you miss, your character will lunge forward, and spells doom if you're facing a ledge. Or, if this anim is even possible, the player tumbles forward, becomes a temporary ragdoll, remains limp for a few seconds, and stands back up via a transition anim. If tumbling forward is possible, when you fall over your fatigue is drained, meaning if you do any fatigue draining action immediatley after that, you will just keep falling down as a temporary ragdoll ( this ragdoll thing is talked about in one of my posts in another board). Note: you can be killed when you are limp. You are still prone to enemy fire.

Slash and hack: you hack and slash your opponent as you back it up with menacing firepower. Drains fatigue if used constantly, meaning you can fall over if that feature ever gets implemented.

Shield: Parrying items.

AKIMBO/DUAL weaps:

All weapons using one hand to hold. Find some sort of dual reload animation and a way to implement this and you're okay.

Also why not a plasma sniper rifle?

That's a pretty tall order. Sounds to me like implementing all this would change BW gameplay way too much from the awesomeness it is now. But that's just my opinoin.

yeah these ideas are great as SB said but they'd change BW gameplay way to much, which would just suck.

That's three votes in agreement, one of whom is half the development team. These really are great ideas, but I'd look for a mod they're more suited to.
