I just don't get it - why there are no weapons on the arenas recommended for JunkWar? I know, they are designed for JW, but if I want to play them without weapons other than junk i will check box "Use junk only" in mutator configuration. I should have a choice to play them with standard weapons or not, they are deathmatch maps after all.

Well those maps are mainly expected to be played with the JW weapons.

Junk weapons aren't really weapon classes, and therefore do not and can not spawn at regular weapon pickups. :)

That's why it is a good way to test of bot paths work right, as thye will pile up in certain places if you don't have good both pathing, if any at all.

I not sure if I was understand right.
Xavious said: "Junk weapons aren't really weapon classes, and therefore do not and can not spawn at regular weapon pickups." - but I'm not talking about Junk weapons, I'm just a bit disappointed that JW arenas doesn't have any Standard Weapons pickups placed on them, even when "Use junk only" option is turned off. As I said before they are just deathmatch maps after all! B)

Also, JW Weapons are in different weap. groups, each time I play JW mod with Standard (or Ballistic ) weapons enabled. It's very irritating, especially when I want to choose some ballistic weapon quickly (many guns in each group). !mistrust

Oh, I see.
Well, thats because they designed it with JW specifically...

I think you could probably use the itemizer to add in weapon pickups, although I have never personally used it, I guess it works pretty good.

AS for the junk slots... well, they aren't exactly random, but they are pretty much in every slot, and I can see your complaint. I think there is nothing that can be done for it though.

Itemizer would work wonders for you Zaero, thats all you really need. Though it takes quite some time to get used to and just well DO!

I made an Itemizer thing last week with DM-1on1-Mixer, added a Locker in the middle you know where its all open, right below the sniper rifle or LG.

The Itemizer is hard to use at first, but after I got used to it, I even made a level into a single player level just by moving all the pickups off the level where they are impossible to reach (read: in the sky) and added in ones where it would be off in a little corner that no one looks for, just like in most FPS's.
