What is the most tactical CTF maps in your opinion? I dont like DM or TDM because it just make the game fast paced. Here is my list: CTF boardwalk (lags though )
CTF Hydro64LE CTF december CTF January CTF NovemberCE2k4 CTF Rail (lags too )
They should have a CTF blackhawk, that would be very tactical

rail is a good map for invasion also(use vehicle invasion mutator) by the way exists a mutator that makes (any?) maps CTF. it would make blackhawk ctf

Or you could open up Black Hawk in UEd, throw in some flags, adjust the player starts, set default gametype to CTF, and save it as CTF-BlackHawk.
Also, when it comes to tactical, try out Grobut's mutators in the BW Mod section. They really slow the pace down a bit and make it much more enjoyable. |

![]() Easier said than done for a person with no UEd experience. |

Oops, forgot about this thread. Odd how it never showed up as unread... headhunter wrote: Is it the BW sloth beta? And do I need to worry about bot path? I dont like to see them getting stuck.
BW Sloth? I don't think its beta anymore. As for converting maps to CTF, if they already got bot pathing, you don't need to worry about it. all you need to do is click on a playerstart (looks like a joystick) then right click and in the menu click select all playerstart, then hit the Delete key. Then simply right click on the ground around what you want for the bases and add player starts. I think you have to double click on the playerstarts to adjust the default properties and under player start section, there should be a slider for teams. Can't remember what number is which team, probably 0 for red and 1 for blue, this determines what team spawns where. After that, hit the actor button at the top of the menu, it looks like a chess peice, and browse to navigation points (or is it path nodes?) and find JumpDest, then Game Objective, then RealCTFlag or something like that, then you got the two team flags. Just select the appropriate one, then right click on the ground you want to add the flag, and click place flag here, or something similar to that. I forgot to tell you, to move the camera, drag the mouse while holding a mouse button down. Which button you hold down determines how the camera moves. to move things, click on the thing you want to move (it'll turn green) and click and drag with the first mouse button while holding ctrl. Last you need to go under, I believe, Edit in the menu bar at the top, and click level properties, and find the gameplay section (could be another name, dunno), and change the line from xgame.xdeathmatch to xgame.xctfgame. After that, ensure that the map is saved with the prefix CTF- rather than DM-, etc. I did that all by memory, so its not 100% accurate, but if you want more info, just ask. It may sound complicated, but it actually is really easy. Great way to get into working with UEd. |

If nali city wasn't buggered up, then try either Mapraider or Insite (even though they are never ever going to post reviews again so said Turn2ashes.) |

Don't bump dead threads, dasada122. If you want to find things like maps and mods use a search engine or PM the author of the thread. |
