my project I'm going to use my rule set for making maps out of Sims 2 houses to build this beast of a fortress. I think this might make for a excessively huge undertaking, but I bet the people here will love it(if they have UT2004) |

What exactly is it? All I see is a giant thing made out of letters. |

It is a game called Dwarf Fortress, each icon has it's own meaning,EX. the + signs are smoothed floors. Each tile there will be represented as a 128x128x256 cube in my map,and the end result is going to be massive. So far so good, one day and I already have a good portion of the main gate carved out. This map is likely to be very ugly, without textures or high-medium-poly static meshes(if any!),but the shear majesty of playing in a map this big will probably defeat details.(I hope) PROGRESS REPORT 2:as I branch out development appears slower, but I am still making good progress,I'm into my 4th save. |

It is a fortress,2D,and quite big. I'm making it into a somewhat stripped down in detail(but not much) 3D fortress arena for UT2k4,Go to Bay12games to get details on dwarf fortress and even pick up a copy if you want. Heres their wiki. Da wiki |
