I need someone to come up with stories, descriptions, and backgrounds for my weapons, as well as names, pickup messages, and death messages. |

I'm up for it. I wrote the backgrounds, descriptions, etc. for all my weapons and I think I wrote some for Kaboodle's A48. |

Alright, sweet! You know the weapons so far, and I really don't care what type of name or story you give them, just so long as it sounds good. |

Ever look in the Ballistic weapons and their descriptions? Yeah... That is why Kien. They'd fit better with that added on, don't you think? |

In that case, I can help to make the descriptions for the ammunition pickups! Not like it's hard to do, but I can get that much done with some interesting ideas... and involve real weapon ammo sizes into the ammo pickups! "You picked up 2 clips of 5.8x42mm DBP89 Light Machinegun Ammunition" Something like that... (I think the 42mm long bit was off, but that's just an example) |

Well, I was sort of implying my weapons specifically. Not a lot of need for Light machine Gun Ammunition at this point for me. Perhaps I should make a forum where people can introduce their skills to the community? Where should I put it and what should it be called? |

Actually, I got some good death messages for the brawling attack set, had tham done a while ago, finally dug them out. But I do plan on making a couple unarmed attacks. They might fit for them. |

If you want, I can try my hand now with the weapon descriptions for ya X! You've seen what I've tried before with my bow's description. |

Ok, what do you think you might wish/need me to write for? My forte with these seems to be when I can write of past uses, so weapons historically brand-new will be more difficult to make it nice and meaty. |

ALright, what I need done is basically anything you see in my To-Do list that has ben started. The only exceptions for what needs to be done would be the Godhammer (akka the 10 guage double gun), my chainsaw, and the PlasEdge. Everything else needs names, descriptions, and death strings. |

Cool. Just remember that its going with a 1930's art deco theme, so think of that recentish movie Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow or Flash Gordan if you want to get an idea of what it will be looking like. Also, remember that I don't need these for some time, so you don't have to rush yourself or anything.

I'll try to get a rough version of the description and deaths for these pumped out in a time, half an hour, hour: Orkish Gun Chainblade Coach Gun Not sure whether I would consider it rough, so more as it is first versions. Will PM or post here. |

Cool. You don't have to do backgrounds or not if you don't want to SX, just whatever you don't mind doing is perfectly fine, still helps out. And cool strings by the way! By the way, I think I already got the brawling death strings done already, but if you can think of another fighting style you'd like to see, write out some death strings for that. Now Treadhead, for the "Orkish" Gun, remember, it isn't truly an ork weapon, it just reminded me of one. It'd probably be along the lines of some weapon an outworlder hastily crafted to defend against the oncoming Krao invasion. Something like that at least. |

Odd, you must have an old version of my Unarmed files, because I just have the death strings the same for alt and pri fire, but if you got some that works, go for it. And Tread, I personally don't care too much which way you get them to me. Whichever you prefer. |

Postin' em here then. Might as well get critique from multiple people. Here's my drafts of the Orkish Gun and Chainblade, death messages and all. SX29 “Gamblers Gun†Heavy Machine Gun. Creator: Wut Ya Packin’ The SX29 is probably the crudest firearm in existence. With twin barrels, it is a deadly weapon, but it is INCREDBIYLY cheaply designed- However, it has recently as such become a common support weapon in The Curse. It gained it’s name “Gambler Gunâ€, when the majority of the first line were mis-loaded with both shells and bullets due to an AI error in the factory machines. However, this served to make the gun more deadly and unpredictable, and since then, it’s been a standard to somewhat randomize clips’ fill. Sometimes all bullets, sometimes all shells. One never knows. A recent improvement is a rather large set of axe blades in front of the barrels. Oddly enough, it was not originally made by Wut Ya Packin’- It was actually made on one of the most invasion-ravaged worlds in the galaxy in sweatshops. The planets’ surface was near annihilated, but Wut Ya Packin’ found a few of these weapons remaining, and began mass-producing them after refining the design a bit. Xavious filled Kien with a cocktail of lead. (Normal) SX blew Sgt. Kelly in half with a mixed blast. (Gibbed off hips or chest) Glostmonex squished Bjossi’s ‘ead. (Axe blade attack resulting in a lost face) Kaboodles gave Beta_Krogoth a chest-full of axe blade. (Normal axe blade) Treahead got a great roll! Unfortunately, thetrunkmonkey did not.(Normal) Treadhead got mulched by Xavious’s SX29(Total or near total gibbage) Xavious lost his head in the flurry of Drake Fireblade’s SX29 bullets.(Headshot) MK. 231 Portable Chainsword Creator: Krome Always stylish, the newest of Krome’s expensive weapon line is the MK. 231 Portable Chain Sword. Inspired by an ancient table top game, now with more rabid fans in the future despite similar situations to the REAL invasions going about, it went through 230 prototypes till they got a functioning design that is affordable (By Krome’s standards) And yet still very powerful. Many private mercenaries make use of the brutal weapon, as it is equally effective at splitting Krao as it is at splitting human and Skrith skulls. Xavious chopped Treadhead up with his chainsword. (Normal) Treadhead sunk a screaming chainblade into Kien. (Normal) Bjossi swung a chainblade into thetrunkmonkeys’ groin. (Gibbed lower body) Drake Fireblade eviscerated Glostmonexe’s chest. (Gibbed upper body) Bjossi lost his head to Treadheads’ screaming chainsword. (Headshot) Xavious rolled a perfect die for an instant killing blow on Kien. (Total gibbage. WH40K Tabletop reference) |

Loving them treadhead, though to be honest, the gambler's Gun sounds a little too refined of a weapon. Not really the type of thing you'd see being made in a factory. :p What about something along the lines of sweatshop made guns, guaranteed to have the life of an orphan lost in every fifth one! Could've found a region of a planet so ravaged by invasions that they were desperate to do anything to make some sort of money, and the Wut Ya Packin group found several of these odd weapons discarded after the invasions have ceased, and decided that they liked it and wanted more? Just throwing ideas out there. Don't get me wrong, I like your story, but it just doesn't quite seem to fit this weapon. I'll give you a list of What doesn't need to be done, everything else will be fair game: Godhammer Brawling (Death Strings done, but everything else needs work) Chainsaw PlasEdge And whatever you guys do. Everything else is fair game! ![]() Also, a bit of info on Death Strings, probably should've said this earlier, but there are 3 damage types, one for arms and legs, one for head shots, and one for body/other. The damage types determine whats being said, so limb shots need death strings for killing someone by a hit to the limb, head damage for head shots, etc. |
