Is it possible to change the texture of a MeshEmitter? I've been trying to change some of the effects for the A73 and A48 (colors, mainly) but have no idea how I would replace their muzzle flash effects. Adding Texture=Texture'BWBalTex.A48.A48MuzzleFlash' to the emitter object doesn't seem to do anything. I looked around for a solution and found something about setting UseBlendMode in the emitter object to True, but all that seems to do is turn the muzzle flash into a big black opaque box. I'm a complete nub when it comes to emitters, and any help would be greatly appreciated here. This is basically the only thing keeping me from releasing an update to my mod. Thanks. |

I remember dealing with this when I was making the A73B. I think you just have to make a new mesh emitter. Though correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't your A48 already have a different colored muzzle flash? |

I'd prefer to just use my recolored texture. |

I think the best solution for this is to copy the appropriate staitc mesh and mae a duplicate of it, placing it in your own package, then applying the desired texture to it, save it out, then change the mesh in th emitter to your new one. I don't know a whole lot about emitters, but I think this will work. |
