| Post subject: | Lost CD key? |
I decided i wanted to install Unreal 2 from my Unreal Anthology disk, but when i clicked install, it uninstalled UT2004. (Luckily, me being cautious, i moved my UT2004 folder, full of mods, into a differnt area). When i try to install UT2004 again, i get asked for my CD key, but i cant find the small white package it came in. Anything i can do thats not illegal? |

Try this: Start => Run => regedit => HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => SOFTWARE => Unreal Technology => Installed Apps => UT2004 Click on UT2004 folder and you will see in right window field CDKey ... But considering that your UT2004 is uninstalled this folder may not present there. |

I have vista so there isnt a run option and ive emailed epic, they suggested contacting Midway. I did this, and they said send in a picture of the box, CD, and receipt, but i dont usually keep receipts |

There is... type run in the search box and press enter in the start menu. Run will pop up. They suggested midway? |

Midway must've distributed it. Send in pics of what you have and tell them you no longer have the receipt and ask them if there is an alternative. |
