Can someone change the Assault Rifles mesh?

Post subject:  Can someone change the Assault Rifles mesh?
I use BW alot, but on the odd occasion i dont, Im disappointed with the Assault Rifle mesh.

I was scrolling through the Animations, and came across the ut2003 assault rifle mesh thing, and an early link gun design. I liked these. Could someone make these usable?

I'm pretty sure that if you go into the weapons section in the settings menu, you can select some of the original ut weapons and check a box that makes them appear like the 2003 versions... however, doesn't work with all the weapons, I think only Assault Rifle, Link Gun and Shotgun, can't remember if there are others

You can go to the weapons tab (oh god, huge loading times!) and hit the checkbox for the one saying something about classic models, which only works for the Assault Rifle, Shock Rifle, and Link Gun.

oh god, don't know what the hell I was thinking... I meant shockrifle :banghead:

no idea how that happened since they're not even similar :scratch:
