I'm busy working on a set of airstrikes based off of the Target Painter. Currently, the bomb is dropped right over the target area, which when added to the momentum and trajectory of the bomb makes it fall way ahead of the target. Is there a way to make the bomber drop the bomb before it gets to the target, so it's actually accurate? For more information, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=75144 *I posted this thread before but I don't think anyone saw it so I decided to try again. |

Ooh, cool explosion effects. I'm sure you could code something in regarding Level.TimeSeconds or something like the regular target painter that drops many bombs. Just reverse engineer the original code so it only drops bombs a certain distance before the target. |

Just reverse engineer the original code so it only drops bombs a certain distance before the target. The problem is the normal target painter just drops them straight down like missiles or something. I got the trajectory bombing code from looking at ExcessiveWeapons, which doesn't have a problem since it drops multiple bombs. But I'm doing stuff like cluster bombs, so I need it to be a bit more accurate. Also, I suck at coding, which is another problem. |
