All right, first of all, this is not about BW but my computer. I'm sorry to bother. If anyone has a website or websites/forums that are perfect for technical problems, would be nice if you send it. But if you can help, then please do. First of all, I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. It works soooooo bad, but I still have it. Here's the problem; I want to install some programs, like NOD32, I choosed Home Edition and 64-bit, which is correct. When I try to install, it says "This product version is not intended for server operating systems" Why? I noticed a strange thing happened to my computer, whenever I start it there should be some waiting place. Sorry, don't know what it is. Startup menu I guess. It was blue like on every Windows 7, but now it changed to boring grey. My computer is not a "server operating system" or whatever. I use a Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64-bit, pure and clearer than water. Also, 1680x1050 resolution wasn't fixed but that doesn't mother for now. Thanks. |

I would recommend trying to repair the OS using the CD. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on this laptop and Windows 7 32-bit on my PC and both work like a charm. If that doesn't work you should either a) check around on NOD forums to see if your issue is common and if there are any fixes or b) do a complete reformat and reinstall of Windows. |

I haven't checked NOD forums, but the problem seems to be common on other forums. But this is because of confusion, they use a SERVER operating system like Windows 7 2008 R2. But I use just an OS, Windows 7 Ultimate. I'll check out the forums later and make an edit on this thread for the report. I'd try to repair the OS using the CD, but I'm afraid I'll screw up. I'm so technology primitive. If nothing works at all, which I bet 99% of my money on that, then I'll reformat it. But I never did it and I would need help on how to. Edit: There's no report about this problem as I found. |
