ive always thought that it would be neat to have a laser mounted on a shotgun that shows not one dot but several dots which would indicate the spread of your shot. kinda inspired by those cheap laser pointers you get that have all the different projection designs. maybe they could be activated using the special function key. besides...its bad enough having one little red dot on you or full beam, imagine seeing a bunch of them, maybe a circle or an x mark...or anything come to think of it im pretty sure seeing a random grouping of dots in a loose circle would be pretty terrifying |

mmmmm...interesting...maybe that could make a switch for the laser pointer, between normal dot and a large area of lots of dots for the shotgun's blast area....although could be a problem for long distances... |

I would want to use laser-based crosshair for all the weapons. Somewhat like the one in the Remote Strike mod but without the bugs & glitches. |

Actually, I'd like a laser sight of ANY kind on the shotguns, or a flashlight, or SOMETHING. The muzzle wanders enough while running around that I often miss with my shots. But that's probably balanced, and gives Redshift's shotgun something specail. |

i for one don't really care, your not using shotguns to hit someone 30 meters away, you use a stinking assault rifle. Shotguns are for up close and medium ranage fighting, and the laser would only get annoying in on in a close combat firefight. |

That was my thought, and it's why I suggested a laser crosshair instead, the one like Remote Strike uses.

Meh. Remote strike coul have been made by four-year olds. Exept that they gor deformable terrain to work on all maps. . .buggy as heck, but I can't for the life of me figure out how they did it. |

hey.. dunno.. sounds kinda pointless.. ok, but not really worth the effort
as for deformable terrain, DC figured that out, but we didnt do it it will have serious problems for maps with terrain..

Yeah, the deformable terrain thing was cool, but no useful. Really, it just caused problems. Cool that you guys figured it out, though. |

the idea of lasers on shotguns is to have a quick way of telling how much spread is on your shotgun, and its just nifty, and from what i can tell never been done before, and i figured since this is the only good weapons mod around....it was worth a good shot |
