This would be a cool thing, crawling on the other side of a low wall..barely undercover avoiding rounds from and HMG, This would also be good because then, you could possibly add Bipods,or tripods to certain weapons so when prone..set up stationary fire postions, also good because, if you had a Bipod on a sniper, you would get a nice shot everytime....but the catch to the bipod..if its in and you use it..,surely your getting up will be slowed by a few seconds, so its more of a "oppertunity moment" type of thing..so I could also see that waste of time it would be..just thought I would state it...if someone already has..im gonna feel like a dipstick..and im sure someone already has...

Wow! You must have tapped into their brains and took all their ideas! Most of your ideas posted were on their to-do list, that's pretty good.

Which wouldn't suprise me, as he's been reviving ancient ones. Anyhow, prone would be cool, but the animation work that would have to be done, plus the fact that it wouldn't work for custom skeletal sets. Yeah. Kinda makes the whole idea impractical. |

Impractical, maybe, but if they ever decide to make new player models to go with the mod at any time, I think it would be a safe bet that they'd put those animations in there. |

Our plans go well beyond depending on UT's (crappy) content! Prone and decent stands have been on our list for aeons! I alwasy like it when people suggest stuff thats already on our favorite list! Gives it some momentum!

Well it also mainly comes from playing other games as well, not only that..like I said before..I use fire arms in a wide range of stances and postions. When im using a rifle at the range, its not uncommon for me to go prone and have a bipod, or crouch. When we had the ar-15 out, I was crouched and firing bursts. I gotta take a picture of my targets, or make video of me at the range one day show off my toys

I'm with Ugly. BW is supposed to be fast-paced. This ain't Bettlefield, nor should it be. |

I too would like to see the prone option added aswell as a bipod system. I thought the whole point of BW was to make UT 2004 seem more tactical. If you want extremely fast paced gameplay why not just play the original UT 2004? |

bipod system maybe but no prone. But then again if you add bipods, everyone (maybe not the bots) would just camp with their bipods, which woudl suck. |

tribes is tatica (in a RTS sort of way not in the Tom Clancy sort of way)l yet surpriseingly fast paced but BW isn't tatical in an RTS sorta way so if you elimate the imposible whatevers left no matter how impropable must be the truth |

You get points for quoting Sherlock Holmes, but lose them for not making sense. |

this is easy.. if u dont like Prone, dont use it! maybe there can be an option for disabling it, for those less tactical players

oh yes an option to disable it would be nice, so that you can't use it nor can the bots. |

Optional would probably be best. I'm not against it at all, but I doubt I'd use it in a regular deathmatch. |

Prone could be alt-fire for MG's while what they've got for alt-fire now could be transferred to weapon special. Using alt-fire for proning I believe is very convenient 'cause you don't have to press the key with your left hand and distract yourself from movement controls. |
