a large flat bed like 4wd vehicle with 4 seven barreled mini-guns mounted on enclosed turret on the back of the vehicle. arangend with 2 guns on either side of the turret, firring 3900 rounds per minute each.

desinged for both anit personal and anti vehicle use. using a mix of incindeary, armor peircing, explosive and tracer rounds. some pix 2 show you what i mean

instead of the machine guns try picturing somthing more like these mounted there, an the turret on the back of a hummer or a big ass F-250

i think this would be sweet in onslaught

it should robotized like in frontlines fuel of war. It would be quite complicated to make though

four barrels at 3900 rpm. I make that 15600 rounds per minute. That kind of firepower will not only overpower any target in milli seconds (1 bullet per 26 milli seconds), but it will slow any normal computer down to about fingernail growing pace.

well then jus stomp on my dreams then lolz well i put that up cos its the firing rate of the gun thta gave me the idea, i ddnt realy think this over 1st i just posted as soon as i thought about it but yea good point.

well if it had about the same rpm as the regular bw mini gun it'd still kick ass.

Well, it can work out. We don't have to get that technical with its implementation. For example, we could just animate the gun to look like it is firing very fast, then calculate damage to targets within its spread cone as a time-based event. Caclulating the distance of all targets in a cone and dishing out damage accordingly sounds like a good, processor-cheap way, compared to several dozen ray-traces per second. While you probably can't get away with that for something like an ak47, it should be quite believable for something that fires on the order of 30+ rounds per second. As for the animations, just spin the barrels and use some emitters. One emitter for smoke, another for sparks/fire near the barrel, and another that shoots out a few tracers.

ok, i htink the barrel flash should look like the the smaller miniguns used on black hawks, if you have seen what that looks like..in a word awesome!!!!

Youtube could help with showing that barrel flash. Videos and pictures tell much more than simple words.

I like the idea of having something versus aircrafts here. Placing such a turret would be nice.

Also.... why not adding another version of the jeep with the Phalanx mounted on the back? While it should be incapable of damaging infantry (limited view downwards), the AI of a unmanned turret should take out lcoked G5's (as they fly upwards before flying straight to target), Redeemers, etc. When the turret is manned, people could also use it to fire upon aircrafts.

yeah i think this would be a very effective anti air weapon.

Well you can just leave high caliber machineguns, it will still look awesome.
And yes remove wheels, add legs and we have a mech here.
