if anyone's played call of duty when your near dead a heartbeat comes on to remind you that youre gonna die, i think i would be brilliant in ut2004 bw, say when your healh reaches 40 it comes on slowly, 30 it gets faster and louder, 20 it gets faster and louder, 10 it gets very faster and louder you get a small beep as well as the heart beat, so what do you think

The ChaosUT Mod does that, at least to my knowledge. |

It could get annoying because your health doesn't really regenerate in UT2004. |

you could have a option in the mutator or bw options menu to regenarate your health when in cover lets say 5 HP per second to 50 HP what do you think i think it,ll be a great extension to your bonus pack Sgt.kelly |

Sorry for slightly bumping the thread, but the idea of a COD style regeneration would be cool in BW. And no, putting the regeneration mutator just doesn't do it. |

Imminent death warning...... beeping or flashing light would definitely be annoying . . I use to play on a server "Teamfluff.com" they had excessive mods health, ammo, regeneration and dual wield all weapons might be fine for objective matches but not for death matches games would take to long |

This would be very annoying unless BW was made far more tactical than it is by default. |

It's basically for auditory appeal. I don't see much use for it since you do have those one-shot, one-kill weapons and therefore, wouldn't do much good to warn you of your imminent demise. |

An heart bat mutator can be ... well, funny I have a regeneration mutator but it's quite buggy, because I have some crashes you can set up regenerating health, adrenaline, shield and ammo, a cooldown the speed and such things. It's called advanced regen (in the page advanced regeneration) http://wickedhq.com/index.php?option=co ... &orderby=4 |

I almost always use advanced regen and I have never had crashes before. |

Me yes but with BW weapons, I don't know but my version of UT isn't well installed, I have it from anthology ... some mutators are quite buggy on my PC |

Hmm, does this work online? I can imagine some nice tactical games with enhanced damage and regenerating health. |

I think the fact that there is health kits makes the thing more tactical, but I prefer the use of a medigun because it has much more sense like curing ourselves, curing our teammates. We can even use the health kits lying on the ground as ammo for it. the main inconvenient is on the creation of a such thing, regenerating health is unbeatable because it just need a piece of coding, the med gun needs the same or more amount of work as a weapon |

i was thinking for the heartbeat warning taking away the beeping and adding some hurt noises, like loud breathing and blurry sounds, and the only way for your health to regenerate is to frag someone so what do you think?.

Sorry for that necromancy here but I like this idea. A simple deep heartbeat once you reach about 15-20% of your original health, which lasts for about five seconds and then goes away, even if the player is not healed. It returns only if the player is healed to at least 50% of orininal health and gets damaged back to 20% again. That would make the game experience much better I think. |
