For those who don't have Kaboodle's Weapon Pack (then you can't call yourself a true Ballistic Fan) the M50A1 is a modified version of the M50.

Graphically, it looks the same.
However, the main change is the grenade launcher... it has been modified to launch further and has this unique ability to stick to organics (players duh!).
Now imagine this, using that unique grenade laucher, we make a gameplay mode called Tag! You're it! where a player (first killed?) goes around tagging people with the grenade and killing them, passing the "tag". Now this sounds similar to Mutant, so coding shouldn't be a problem. The main problem would be to make players only be able to fire the launcher (pull and make a unique weapon?).

So, I (and I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to think of this) leave it to your capable hands, RuneStorm.

You know what happens when you leave your goals and desires in the hands of someone else? Usually nothing. That's a life lesson for you. ;)

Of course, this wouldn't be hard to make, just make a new weapon that fires the grenade only, and set the mutant's weapons to be this new one and its pretty much done. Would be a great project for someone learning code, since there'd be no new code, just minor modifications of old code.

The biggest problem I can see with this is getting the bots to run away from the mutant rather then try and kill it. I'll probably set the mutant with either god mode if I can or an insane amount of health/sheild so it will be seen as unkillable. I don't know what to do with the bottom feeder though.

its not too hard to get bots run away instead of charging towards you. At least it seems to be. I haven't yet dug into controlling bots, but in bw code you can see only some simple stat changes or "notification" lines for bots wich tell them how to attack or defend against a particular weapon. Try changing it, i think that part of coding it is not much more harder as i described (i could be wrong tough..).
