3 teams 1 flag 2 capture points Red/Blue try to capture the flag while team #3's objective is to defend the flag, round based style variables: Round time, Capture time(0=instnat score, 1+=number of seconds flag must be within capture zone to score), and Score limit Sound like a good idea Yes/no? |

This sounds like its gonna be a pain to code IMO, its not like CTF4, its much different. That and this is better in the ideas section. Overall I'm fine with regular CTF and CTF4. I have no idea on how this is gonna be even feasible. |

Well but CTF4 has an own pawn and it's not fully compatible with BW. |

What might be an easy game to code could be capture the area, or maybe renamed something more interesting like Siege Control. It could be a simple addition added to a map which defines an area or areas, which could be built up, hills, fort or whatever. Then the defending team must stay in this area for a set amount of time, if someone is leaves the area, is killed, frozen or similar then the percentage of defending reduces, therefore it a bit like when capturing on games like battlefield the flag will reduce gradually. The Attacking team must kill either all people in the area or reduce the defending level enough to capture the area. This could all be tweakable to admins, as well as some maps maybe having good protection for defenders so it's not all about just fragging the other team and more about the defending team also keeping out the attackers. This sounds obvious and similar but making a simple actor that people could add in a map, then a mod with settings could make every server and map a completely different game. Ya could even have just tdm with some delays in respawn, or maybe the amount you were killed, so if you was owned or killed several times then it's a longer wait to respawn but if ya was say just knifed or shot with machine gun or pistol, basic weapons then respawn could be quick. Add this to ballistics and its a whole new game. |
