I haven't had any success in configuring BW to use the new weapons. When I configure the arena the weapons show up in the options but when I try playing none of them show up (literally running around without anything).

I found an issue with the X-83 A1 Sniper Rifle, when playing online, it can't be mounted...

Those of you with weapon spawn issues, try one of these.

Either delete your BallisticV21.ini - This will reset your BW options but will fix all the weapons.

Or put this one in your system folder. - This is Thedutchjelle's fixed BallisticV21.ini and comes with whatever he uses in BW.

For advanced users: Open up your BallisticV21.ini and manually remove all instances of BWBPRecolors. - Don't remove the ones with the BWBPRecolors2, though.

I believe it's to stop one-to-many file distribution. It's OK if you just want to give the link to one person.

Mind you, that's what e-mail attachments are for, so...

I found 2 (minor) bugs!

1. The plasma ball of death's damage to players is inconsistent, I've lost a head by the splash damage one time, and was severed at the waist the next. one time nothing happened. This isn't really that bad though.

2. When in areas of certain lighting, I can see the lit outline of what was taken off the original BW model to make the Sgt. Kelly model. For example, on the plasma rifle(s), you can see the "claws" of the lightning gun. This kind of lessens the feeling of originality on these weapons.

Other than that, it's a great pack.

I didn't know what the secondary fire on the recoilless rifle did when I pressed it.

Now I know.

Haha, you should have seen the first version. Auto-detonation.

Anyway, glad you like it! About the bugs:

1. The limb gibbage is defined by where you were last damaged, so if you get shot in the arm and the leg, only those two will be blown off by the plasma blast. Same thing happens with all the BW guns, which is why sometimes headshots can blow off legs. :p

2. Those guns were modified using invisible textures which can be iffy at times. That's the best I can do without completely remaking the gun and its animations.

Uhm if the last damaged limb goes off, how can a headshot which is that kills make a leg go off? If the headshot kills then the head was the last damaged part. :scratch:

Is there any moar weapon in development? :3

Um, if I may make a suggestion, for the new release can you add a mutator that would enable the X83 Rifle to be mountable online, I know you said you intentionally disabled it, but there are quite a few people I know who want to be able to mount the rifle. I know it means a bit of work making the mutator, but it would be appreciated.

Thats why it can be a mutator, so it can be enabled or disabled by the admins of the server. Or if they run UTvotemenu, allow players to choose when they can have the option of mounting it.

Those hints aren't really related to the new weapons in any way.

Also, the new weapons will be awesome. I know what at least two of them will be. One of them is quite close to me. Its my pride and joy. And stuff. Also quite handy for opening a tasty bottle of pop with its built in bottle opener. That was a real hint.
