I am having a round of insomnia, so to kill some time I am posting here, even though I have been around here off and on for going on two years now. The name itself says most of it. I used to use a bunch of identities for different things, and got tired of keeping track of them. I consolidated most of my gamer stuff under the name Faceless as a bad pun on the anonymity of having more than 15 personas at one point. I am in the USA. I have got a college degree, but it didn't do much for me, so I am going back to school in a completely different field and barely getting by in the meantime. I mainly play FPS, RPG, strategy games, and the occasional combat flight sim or space combat sim. I am a PC elitist, meaning consoles normally are not good enough for me - the type of games I like to play typically don't handle well on console controllers. Computer gaming aside, I am also a bit of an eclectic history buff, and I read a lot, among other hobbies. As far as Unreal goes, I have been around since Unreal 1. My time with UT2k3/UT2k4 is best described as a never ending quest for the best combination of weapon packs and vehicle packs, as I do not care for the default gear included by Epic. Runestorm's Ballistic Weapons is probably as near to perfection as any group will achieve on weapons for UT2k4, my primary frustration now is that the vehicle replacers and the few turret replacers lag behind Runestorm's quality and do not quite match its near-future theme. Aliens invasion monsters or Killing Floor combined with Ballistic Weapons is some of the most fun I have had with Unreal. As I have been lurking the community since it started, I have a long memory for various mods, which is why I can sometimes dredge up really obscure links when people ask about different things. There is more to me than that, of course, but I think that says enough for everyone here. |

Hello, and well put. Stop by Hedsteem's servers some time. They've got Killing Floor and Ballistic Weapons running on their servers, although I'm not sure if they have BW on the KF server. |

Welcome Faceless. I used to have quite a lot of personas before, to shake off some annoying friends or people who keep PMing me or whatnot. That doesn't at Runestorm, so thank god! Now that I see all these Joined Dates I feel like there was hell a lot more things going on before me. Especially when the version was 1.5 when I joined... |
