Hello everyone ,
I joined this forum not long ago and I'm happy to see the community here is really cool, here a bit about me. I'm a boy from Belgium (Europe : Yup, I say this because it's such a small country and I already saw a lot of american poeple saying to me : "what ? where is it ?" lol, so, since then, I'm always precising it, it's a country where it nearly always rains, right now, it's raining !) and I speak french (able to speak dutch, german and I'm learning japanese). I'm 24 years old (25 in approximately 4 month) huge fan of Franck Herbert, I love reading. Well, what else can I say ? I'm an owner of UT2004 since it's out and I'm proud to say that it is the only game that never was uninstalled from my computer and has now a size 19,2 Gb but it has been bigger.
I've been following the tracks of BW since it's very first step but never got engaged in the forums, it's the mod I play the most. Favorite maps are : ONS-IGUAZU ONS-HOLLON AS-CONFEXIA AS-ABYSS_Lite CTF-LAVAGIANT DM-ANTALUS DM-BLACKHAWK DM-NEANDERTALUS DM-KOMA DM-DC-CANAL DM-RELATIVITY DM-THEPEAK DM-BLOODRUN DM-RRAJIGAR DM-SPEOS DM-VMADNESS2004 DM-BLACKJACKAL DM-OSIRIS Well, thank you for reading

Well, maybe I may seems "over-enthousiastic" but I had a lot of bad experiences in forums, beeing flamed at the first post, saying your stupid to say things like that or even beeing rejected 'cause you're new and didn't came on the forums since it's begining

We don't have specific greetings actually, just : Bonjour = good morning Salut = hi Hello = do I have to say how to translate ? LOL
I don't see anything else... maybe the " hé " wich is the " hey " in english, but very rare. But things are a bit difficult since we have 3 national language in the country : french, dutch and german There's a lot of political fight to decide if French is the main language or Dutch (then the greetings will change from Hello to Hallo (Hello in dutch) or even : Goedemorgen = Good morning) german is a smaller part of the country so they are politicaly always crushed and we never talk of them ! Even better, we don't have any government right now , and it's been since June we don't have any !
Poeple are betting early 2008 we will have one, others are betting for latter... Some even say 2009. Right now, Belgium is a Ruin but what's really weird is we don't have any riots, ... or any problems in the country everything just seems normal !
Oooh yes, some manifestation from poeple all around the country like : french - dutch we're all belgians ! What a country ... Edit : Bulska, Sorry, I just saw you're from Netherlands, so I guess you must know what happens in Belgium, lol ! I still let the post so poeple can see what's happening in my dear stupid country ! |

The weapon pack 4 has really decided me I was so amazed to see the team was still at work with the mod !Yeah, when BW2.1 came out i was afraid that this forum can die, if inquisition would exist nowadays they would probably cry out "Heretic !" and burned me for such thoughts.

Roflol !!!!! Right, inquisition guys weren't some with whom you could joke with
Anyway, if inquisition was on this forum, I don't think anyone would enjoy it !
Well, I'm glad that the community is still that great ! Coming here, I was just afraid to be "rejected" and not accepted at all as if inquisition was here
I thought : well, BW community has already been existing for a while now and it must be a strenghten community, they must all know each other very well, they must all have posted at least 10 000 posts but I take the risk and jump in ! |
