Well hello there ;D

My name is Ossian.
I'm from NSW Australia.
I'm a technical artist, I specialise in Animation, Retopology, Baking, Sculpting and Level design, I've worked in lots of mods, a few games and was taught by Developers at Tripwire Interactive.
here's how long I've done each of... the things I do:

Animate - 4 Years
Retopology - 2 Years
Baking - 2 Years
Sculpting - 2 Years
Level Design - round about 8 or-so years
Programming (I don't like it much) - a few years on and off
Rigging - 3 years
Rigging Weapons to Characters or Hands - 3 years (if you need a rig for Max ask Me, you won't find anyone better ;D)

here's some pictures of My latest work:
This arm is a retopology of the high poly, it's high enough it's self but for a reason, one obviously being better deformations, it lacks allot of Detail, but I lack allot of tools so the rest will be done in Zbrush.

Taught by Tripwire Interactive eh?, some rather decent indie games they've made, what brings you to RuneStorm?.. ;)

It's great to meet a BW Dev, been a fan for years now.
there's actually a few reasons I'm here so here they are.
I'm good friends with Sgt.Kelly, Blade Sword and Xavious who usually know Me as Sorrow, I was originally going to work with them but I didn't have a BW arm rig for 3DS MAX.

Another reason is if anyone ever needs help making anything or fixing some kind of problem I'm happy to lend a hand, got plenty of time available.

Next reason is I wanted to meet the original mod developers and I'd like to ask permission to re-Animate some weapons on a new set of hands, right now I was going to test that with The Crucible so I'm going to need permission. I've not yet planned on what to do with complete files.
The reason I chose Crucible is because I've not really worked with the UE3 and it'd be nice to use an engine which supports Normals, Specular colour for once.

The arms I intended to use were these:

Will modding The Crucible be your first time experimenting with Normal maps and the like in a game engine?...

Well judging from those screenshots of the hands, you've got experience with Normal maps and everything already, just perhaps not in the actual engine as of yet... :think:

We shall discuss the use of content permission and get back to you... ;)

Yeah it'll be My first time using Normals, what you say there is all pretty much it, I've made the stuff... but been kinda annoyed I couldn't use it.

Your hand does look swell, very cool!

If you want to mod the hand into Crucible, then that's cool. You should only need the source code for that. You can tell what bone-names you need by checking in UEd or downloading the original UT3 hand rig from UDN :)

excellent :D, I need to ask if I could get a hold of the original BW arm rig, that's if you used Max, if I'm to continue working with Sgt.Kelly and his group, I'm going to need it.

I've been doing a CAT rig of those arms I showed too... cause CAT pwns :3

Allrighty, I finished the rig in about 1 hour, did a test with the KF Beretta too.
I'd like to give the gloves a different texture...but if you saw one of My textures you'd cry.
