You may have heard of me my real name is Logan Richert but i go by the name of Black Eagle. I am Shadowblade and Darkcarnivours brother as of yet i am practicing to be helpfull to there projects. What i hope to do is to make most of the maps. so from me its Hi!! and bye i maybe talking again to all you BW and JW fan's

Ye hey you all.. Yes i do know a fair amount about UED i have worked with it for several years.. And yes its true im the youngest i have worked with pc's since 1996 or so. Ye Bjossi it is sad that he has not been introduced to pc's ye i have made a few UT2004 maps inculding some onslought ones 1 of them you may see... I will have my work cut out for me when UT2007 comes out i will have to learn new things... Well bye for now..

UEd 1.0 = Unreal
UEd 2.0 = Unreal Tournament
UEd 3.0 = Unreal Tournament 2003/4
UEd 4.0 = Unreal Tournament 2007

That is what my point was, UT2007's editor may or may not be similar to version 3.0. :)

Well Bjossi so you aren't truely goddly.UT2007 uses Unreal Engine 3, cause Star Wars Republic Comando uses UEd 2.5 and UT and Unreal both used UEd 1.0 while UT2004 used UEd 2.0. I read an article that the guys at Epic have 1 guy working on UEd 4.0 and UEd 3 won't even have any tech demos from it for at least 4 to 5 years. Bjossi get your facts right.

Don't confuse the version numbers for the engines and the editors. While UT and Unreal both used UE1.0, the editors were pretty different for each. The UT editor had a lot of bug fixes and other improvements; they could have called it UEd 1.5 or something, but went with 2.0.

UT99 use UnrealEd 2.0, and 2k4 uses UEd 3.0.. so i expect that 2k7 will use 4.0 :)

You were right that UT2007 will be using unreal engine 3.0 (UE3.0)
But the editor will be unreal editor 4.0 (UEd 4.0)

And that's final.

Yes i think that it will be called UED 4.0 I have seen a few shots of the new editor and it is more advanced than before. But it still has the same sort of interface as before..

You know before i can even learn how to use 2007's editor i will need a new pc. You all may be shocked to hear that i posses only a 416 mhz cpu and one of the first Gforce made it can only just run 2004.. Not even DarkCarnivour's pc will run it and its coming out soon like in a couple month's or something..

Geforce 2 is too powerful for 32 Mbs of RAM, maybe Goforce 256 or 128 might be more likely.
