I downloaded Junk Wars a couple days ago, and I love it! I already had Ballistic Weapons, so I knew it'd be good. But actually, I never played it against bots or people. Has anyone heard of Blue Moon Rising? It's supposed to be a total conversion, but there hasn't been much work on it recently... But anyways, the cool thing is that it adds a new invasion game type, and the monsters are really well made zombies (except for a few animation bugs). You can dismember them and they still keep coming. Makes the hand axe really fun.

I've just been playing junk wars against these zombies, and it is probably my favorite mutator. It kind of gives you a survival horror feel, where you just have impromptu weapons to use against the zombies. Plus you can whack away at the zombies, watching the vrious body parts fall as you just keep hacking away with your machete. You oughta try it sometime. Blue moon rising is still on mod db, I think.

But anyways, is there maybe going to be different weapons packs that aren't just junk released some time? Like maybe power tools for one (or something like that, that was the first thing that come to mind), and maybe medieval weapons, too? I think that would be pretty awesome.

Didn't you make this so people are able to make their own weapons pretty much hassle free? I think I might try making some tonight...

Runestorm will have to answer your questions about future releases, there is a huge BW update coming in the near future with great additions like minigun, Magnum revolver and a flamethrow to name a few.

I was asking because I was confused as to what it was. Looked like a person at first... then goo... then grape juice... alpha centauri was totally my last guess.

How'd you get a person out of that? I'm not making fun, I just don't see it. What part of a person? And where?

Glad to hear you like the mod. I'm not sure how you would go about adding your own weapons. I suppose it is possible, but I'm sure ShadowBlade or DarkCarnivour (the devs) will tell you.
There are some exciting things comming to BW and JW down the line, so hang around and help us out by testing and keeping the others here in line (who seem bent on turning just about every thread in to their own conversation)

Well, I'm way too huge of a Photoshop freak - the star looks suspiciously like a lens flare, and the grain on the whole thing is easily achieved by a filter, incidentally called "film grain". Meh.
