Hey, I'm another newibie to the site, recently downloaded Ballistic and Junk War, great mods. You may have seen me either online or on other sites, I'm also under Animacintosh and macintosh3000.
Well, there we go, I'm all introduced.

Call me Mac, it's fine, most people do it anyway. I just can't wait to go to America and listen to the cab drivers call me 'Mac' ^^
Thanks, and why call this place hell? lol I think thats a little unfair on the leaders of BW and the website ^^
I use the ^^ smiley a lot, sorry, I just love manga (Japanese cartoons), I'm hoping to become a manga artist when I'm older. The ^^ smiley is a lot like manga, hence why I like it.
I hope to be of some use on this site, for example, I am a mac user and hopefully can help the non PC users out there, I'm okay at scripting for mac seeing as I have to make most of my own launchers for total conversions. I also know quite a lot about weapons, (Dad works for the MoD and spending a little time with the combined cadet force means that you have to know a little about weapons). I've been playing unreal 2004 practically since it came out as I pursudaed my friend to get it, I got my mac about 2 years ago now and I purchased unreal with it, havent stopped playing it since, when it started to get a little bit boring I discovered something called mods ^^
Well, theres a little about me, don't know if it was necassary, but there we go :S
Oh yeah, when playing unreal online I use the Demo face classic server, I can't remember the exact name... It's my faveourite and I've begun to realise that few match me at my sniping skills, mind you, sniping in UT2K4 is pretty damned easy. Within 5 minutes of loading up the map, I usually hear "HEAD SHOT!" it's like music to my ears.

I thought UT2003/4 didn't announce head shots, only in text.
I haven't launched UT2004.exe in months so my memory is a bit rusty. ;)

Post subject:  macintosh!

OOoh, they announce head shots alright heh heh ^^

Author:  Mr.UglyPants [ Mon Jul 31, 2006 8:55 am ]
Post subject:  macintosh!

yeah you get a loud HEADSHOT! from the anouncer, sad thing is that they don't count the # of headshots you get in the F3 menu *sigh*.

That could be easily made with a mutator and a bit of UScript knowledge.

Welcome! Glad to have yet another mac user here for the amusement of us PC users. :) Just kidding, you guys are always a welcome addition.

One suggestion, though, don't push the manga stuff too hard here, you won't find a lot of other fans. Except DarkOnxy.

But anyhow, enjoy your stay! We'll try and keep the devouring of your soul down to a minimum.

yeah, i'd love to have a mut for that, i just don't know anything abuot UScript and that and everyone who i've asked to make it (yes i've asked) has not bothered saying i could do it myself. *another sigh*.

A mutator for the head shot counter or a mutator for the devouring of my soul?
And don't worry, manga tends to stay in my portfolio and unreal on my computer.

It is so sad that the coders you find are always too busy or give other lame excuses to avoid spending 15 minutes of their lives making this kind of a mutator.

The only way I know taht you can count is on the unreal stats page, but that kinda sucks because there is more than one of me! I don't know which one is the real me and I can never be bothered to write down my code. I also don't think that page updates properly...

Yo Yo, Walkom in da place...

Spoze we could do some kind of cooler stats... Wouldn't take 15 minutes though, would take a bit longer...
Was thinking of doing some cool stats thing some time ago, but.... well... other stuff got in the way...

Another funny art fan... Well... I try to make stuff look like the stuff it looks ike... :D
Don't mind my arrogant ramblings, what do I know :(

At school I do fine art. lol. Thats what got me started on manga, I first began with fine art and the teacher said that I "Excelled" in the subject and I moved on to cartoons coz I felt as though they were harder.
I'm going to study illustration at Uni. I want to go to Edingurgh art uni, or any art uni really. lol.

ahh the M word!

Wouldn't it be cool to have a advanced stats menu/ thingy while ingame in UT2k4 where it would count bullets fire, how many have caused death pr hit or missed, give % on any and everything about the weapons and so on, might be a sepearte mut like Ballistic Sprint and would have its own key to activate it.

That would be extremely useless though, rather make it a mut seperate from BW altogether.

Hey it would still be cool to have CSS stats stuff (thats what i was trying to explain but i f**ked up)

Author:  Bjossi [ Sun Aug 06, 2006 6:56 am ]
Post subject:  macintosh!

Definately, but it ain't related to BW in any way. ;)

what, you'd be able to see how good of a shot you are, since the F3 menu in UT2k4 sucks.
