I would exhaust all the free stuff first and track all the movement.
Like on FB, Twitter, other forums etc. And get some pic's out there on photobucket, flickr, etc.
When I was searching for weapons for my data base there was no BW weapons out there.
Put RS and address on all pic's and put all tags that apply.
Get some links on them and put some link on others and some news. Stage some questions
Like ( what types of games do you make Or are you going to make any mods for this or that game.
Or are you hiring, And throw in some dumb ones that are funny)
Right now RS on FB has 16 fans my two post that's it O and one working link
Needs more to keep the masses interested and coming back

They are making the crucible, you can see the forum dedicated for it, there is a mod version and a fill version of it.

If I tried to run that on my PC it would just cry... I would still buy a copy though :D

It would mean that I would need to get a new PC though...

Have you tried it?

I thought the same,

Thinking that medieval styled guns where a bad idea, but you soon see the genius there,

It’s a good game,

I love the design of the guns and the sound effects, which is more than I can say about a lot of modern shooters.

The levels are wonderfully designed as well, and look even better in UDK.

The characters are amazing.

The animation is near flawless,

Once of the Major Bugs in that, is the Trident Machinegun,

When it runs out of bullets completely, you reload, and just before he puts the new ammo in, a bullet magically appears,

Yes, that bug is a technical issue where the engine didn't like hiding the bone for some god forsaken reason... >:(

Those "voodoo" bugs that make no sense at all, but for some reason happen... :-\

It certainly is a good concept, only it was a victim of deadlines and the MSUC as a whole, so the final one will be so much better, a real solid product.... ;)

Damn MSUC And there Deadlines,
Games Will always Have bugs In them Its just up to The Player To find them ;D
You guys Should Add Some Secrets To the Crucible Like On one of the Maps Have A secret Teleporter To teleport the player to a Secret Room Showing The people That Helped Make The crucible ;D

Is that the worst bug you've found in the Crucible?

Secrets! What secrets? Who told you that? There are no secrets in the Crucible! Yep, thats right, none! None at all, not any, so don't bother looking...

A commercial Crucible is quite a big project and will take time, but what if there were something else?

There are some secrets on crucible,

Just not sure how to open the god damn doors.

I had to use ghost to get in.

Tsk Tsk Tsk, come on give a little effort, it's meant to be hard-ish, no revealing them now!.. ;)

Afraid you won't see any dev photos!, maybe one day when our eyes become accustom to the light outside, and we feel safe around the wildlife you call "humanity"!... :D

As long as the quitters don't tell, the secret hunting will remain fun for those who are dedicated.

I'm always fascinated by secrets that have to be found by pure accident, no clues of their existence. Then your finding goes across the internet if the game is popular and several years old by then.

Look at it this way,

I shot a Rocket at said Door.

I noticed how the lighting was affected by it,=.

So I knew (begin a mapper)

THIS IS A MOVING DOOR,

I tried for about 30 mins trying to open the door, to no avail.

So I typed in Ghost.

But I still dont know how to open it. :(

Ha ha, figure of speech to describe our "dedicated" work routine..

Our maps and their secrets have surprisingly stumped most people, mission accomplished... :D
And cheating will leave you with an empty feeling... ;)

Knowing Runestorm there will be a room showing plans to take over the world ;D .

P.S HAs anybody seen the secret on that frozen ONS map on ut2004, there is a secret door on the first and only node, the way to open it is to shoot every tree, i wont spoil the secret ;D

P.S.S A good idea would to have a maze that you open that allows you to travel to a secret airbase, that you can steal a cidida and rain hell on the the Ground fools below ;D

Post subject:  Re: Would you buy a commercial game from RS ?

I would gladly buy the game, but i have few questions:

1. Which pricing you are aiming at?
2. Will there be a physical distribution?(this plays big role, i would be unable to buy it if it is digital distribution system)
3. Will there bi good AI bots to play with(currently the 1.1 Cruicible mod dont have that good AI)

Thnx :D
