did u try it urself? i usually check my own work for any errors, u should do that often.

I stated that, i might fix up errors and stuff in case someone is willing to do the modelling, so i know about errors.

Otherwise, just state your observations objectively, not your opinions and stuff like that.

Mzoltan, this is not some sort of fascist camp. People are perfectly allowed to post their opinions, and complaining about that is not going to get you any help.

On the topic of the HAMR modification, I severely doubt you'll get anyone to change the model. People don't just get up and decompile/recompile models on somebody else's whims.

But yeah, I think the 'search through the 100 page thread for a link' game was probably getting tiresome.

I did not complain, i asked to not do so, since its meaningless, and is not productive (i did not explain that).

Anyway, it was not my idea to make this gun, others commented they want it. If one doesn't change the model, it hink its meaningless to fixing up bugs in it, since without model, it would look shit, anyway, not much problems remained. If they think the modifications are good ideas, then someone make a modified model and then i or someone else fixes up remaingin glitches add things etc.

Otherwise i don't care.

I was just giving my word on how I would do it. Thats how I find most of my errors, I test em out on my own. U will be surprised on how many junk u can find if u put ur will and dedication into it.

Jeeze.. Don't be so rude. And yes, theres a bunch of wrong in that code u have done, indeed its lazy work IMO. I understand the ambition, but the way its been done its rather horrible... u needz to be more dedicated into ur work if u wish to get it rightly done. Now I wont list all the faults here, I was hoping that u can find em urself(that also means u can find stuff I have not since Im more into getting my work done as well). U just need to be dedicated in ur work.

And also, IMO you can't get everything you want, it just doesnt work that way. If you wanna get sumthing done, u pretty much have to work for it urself... people are more than willing to help, but in the end, its up to you to get the job done.

Right now i only care about wrong things in the code which cause functional problems. Otherwise they are just thrown together code, which can be polished if anyone interested. Two functional problems i know of are sometimes, especially when you grab a sphere to move it around and select for aiming it stops aiming and desired gunpitch stays at null. The other is it resets gunpitch in out of sight mode with x not just reseting desired gunpitch so that things would follow. If anyone find other functional errors, then let me know, all the other lazyness in the code is just easily fixable, routine checkup work, nothing of priority. Only the functional aspects are interesting at first.

Otherwise, i never implied that i can get everything i want. It works that way, someone does the code and someone the modeling and graphics (sometimes its done by the same person..). I won't do graphical modelling part. I have other things to do also. I will only continue the code if someone does modelling, if nonone is interested, then whatever.

Plus i was not rude, rudness means using offensive statments directed to a person. I did not direct any statmenet to a specific person or community.

In any case, any and all ideas is welcome. Oh, I 4got, i think this should go in the ideas section.. yeah i messed up there. Im planning to see wut suits this best so i might add sumthing later on for the HAMR.

BTW has anyone thought of giving it a camo system like from the Recolors Pack, Im planning on that, one that fires Napalm shells, toxin shells, ice shells, EMP shells, and hell, make the uber one lob nuke shells to boot only thing i would need are sum awesome textures for the gun and i should be able to do the rest. Just need to see how the pros did it

Right now I did a simple recode of making the shells fly like regular tank shells, yeah its rather odd, but it makes it hella more useful as a anti armor weapon at range, mainly vs tanks. I recommend only using this as one of the replacements of the AVRIL. Its rather overpowered when u have a mini Goliath cannon in ur hands in a a non vehicle game. Then again u can make it as a super weapon there then. Still i messing around with it though, so don't expect anything yet till i get it right.
