Hello all, fan of BW UT2004 and a sound question for you. I have the latest BW Gold installed but for some reason some voices won't play anymore. More specifically the "I've got the flag" voices.

Some suggestions for more weapons-
I would like to see a claymore mine so that a blast is in one direction.

Apache helicopter with two seats pilot flies and shoots rapid fire rockets (an over powered/sized rocket launcher) and alt fire shoots traditional air to air missile. The co pilot has minigun control and alt fire has zoom in ability like on tank turret.

The T-34 tank, yes something different than the goliath......

Can't help you there, I'm not really much of a UT wizard when it comes to settings. All I can think of is that you have a sound setting turned off somewhere. Closely examine all your settings, because I think there's one somewhere to turn those off.

The FP7's kinda like that. Exactly like that, actually.

There's a mob that actually makes these two vehicles, I can't recall the name of it, but it adds a blackhawk heli, an abrahms tank and a few other not quite as polished vehicles. (Like a hummer. Lawl)

I think the sound is a BW issue since if I play without BW mutator the other sounds will play. I know for sure some of the weapons in it were not acting right and I had to triple check each version I installed so that I didn't skip anything.

Yeah the explosive packs have a blast radius and not a directed path like a claymore. I was thinking like putting them on trucks/tanks and when you drive around a guy appears near you and the claymore explodes and kills the guy next to you.

I'll look into "YARM"
I have modeled a T-34 and if anyone is up to the task of coding/importing into UT2004 and released in any future mods for BW that would be great.

So what version of BW are you using? The latest is 2.1 but you have to install 2.0 first since 2.1 is only a patch (Install BW bonus pack 4 before 2.1 if you use that).
I remember this issue very well but can't remember for sure if it was BW or a conflict with another mutator. It is easy enough to find that out I guess; run only BW with a standard gametype, or a BW gametype with no muts except ones that shipped with BW.

a claymore would be funny as it is now i enjoy watching people tread over my mines and killing themselves >:D have you thought that i may be a windows fault try going to control panel and sound settings and seeing if yor speaker setings are misconfigured if not they try changing your surround sound settings

I'm using BW Gold 2.1.
The mines are fun but the AI tends to walk over their own mines way too much lol.
