Yesterday playing BW conflict, we discovered a very interesting bug.
At the end of the match, instead of going to the next map, it restarted in the same map an everything was weird:
Players couldn't die, your health would go below 0 and dismemberment still worked, but you (and the bots) could still run around and shoot. There were headless, dismembered players and bleeding torsos flying around fighting.
At first I thought "oh shit Conflict is completely fked up"!
Then we tried a normal deathmatch with BW loadout: Same thing happened. Then I realized something else was going on. BW had been working fine before we'd just added a bunch of downloaded characters.
Tried deleting the .u files for the chars, bug still happened. Then I turned my attention to the stupid "Chuck Norris" character. His name was unusual in that it had a space in it. I tried to use an alternate character and suddenly the bug disappeared. I then went into CN's .upl file and got rid of the space in the name. Trying BW again, it turned out the bug was gone. Conflict also then worked properly.
So the moral of the story; If your character has a space in the name, expect maps not to change and to battle flying corpses and all sorts of other weird things!
