Ah hello people iam kind of new to this kind of thing but a felt like giving it a try. We are all here because we love ut2004 and UT in general. But lets get to the meat of things we all love ballistic weapons right other wise we wouldn't be here chatting about it. Its also a great thing when we the community get these new and wonderful toys to play with and discover new ways to annihilate the competition fun fun. Now iam not a halo fanatic but i like halo and i think that the weapons and vehicles would be a very nice edition to the ballistic weapons collection. I mean just hear me out halo is a great game, halo as a series is cool but i feel like the weapons in the games don't have there true gore capabilities brought out. When you get hit by a fuel rod launcher in halo you get sent flying but with ballistic halo you get get reduced to a pile of burning meat glazed with green fire. It would also come with a actual shield system it would work like the shield belt from the original UT only it regenerates and u could change the color of your shield or have default shield colors for capture the flag 4. It seems like much but i would just be happy with the weapons and vehicles alone. Iam not a coder of any sort because if i were i would be taking a shot at it my self and show u what i got and ask for your feed back. I came across these halo 3 models when i was looking around on the epicgames forum and someone else also had this idea and i thought it was pretty cool. Okay so in short basically guys iam just pitching a ballistic halo mutator for ut2004 and hoping this catches on and gains substance. Then there's also a link to the halo 3 3d models so if your interested in this or know the big coders at the runestorm or Sergeant kelly on a cool level maybe we could run it by them. I wanted to do the same. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=77197 The only problem is the lack of people working on it. So there is not much going on. You should try to find talented guys who can do modeling and such, maybe you should try asking the guys at HaloMaps to lend a hand. I have a bunch of codes for the weapons, and some Halo type textures(mainly Effects) like shown here. I Also Managed to get some good sounds, mainly from H3 and Reach. ![]() ![]() Just need a guy who can do animations and models, and a guy whos good at weapon textures. Also, the SK Bonus Pack will have some Halo Like weapons I think. |

Me and Sgt. Kelly have our own weapon pack we are working on, and the original BW developers are working on commercial games. But CMGuy was making attempts at a Halo weapon pack. I would talk to him about it. Also, please, pleease us some punctuation and the Enter key more! Ninja'd! |

Kinda hard these days since SPAM is gone... Again, try asking the HaloMap Guys. I would've ask myself if I wasn't coding some new weapons. (I Made a Plasma Grenade Today!!! Code wise...) |

Aye. We all want to make weapons, but we really don't have a lot of people who will help out, so we are stuck making due with what we got. |

So many weapons we want to make, so few people to make them. I did make progress on a more refined code for Ammo Counters for weapons, as shown with that M50 I modded. Im gonna use it for any future Halo(Or Non Halo If I want) Weapons when they become available. |

That kind of sucks but it is what it is right now i don't, really know of any other effective way to get the word out. I'll try something but i don't, know if it could work the majority of the UT community is either doing there own thing or moved on to something else. It's all about effective advertising thanks for the feed back guys and keeping it real.

Just keep trying man, keep spreading the word! Right now I'm planning to integrate the Halo Weapons to Unreality's Weapon Pack instead, if he wants to. At least I will be able to get a team with those guns hopefully. In reality, we need more people here as a whole, there's not many of us here sadly.... |

As to the HALO Vehicles, almost all are already done for UT2K4 (search the net for HaloUT) is really only missing the Covenent Tank(no clue what it is called) for Halo weapons Unreal4Ever, Y.A.R.M. , And BW2.5+SKBP v.9.2 cover almost everything but the needler (use WORM to mix and match weapons or BW's Loadout mutator) So really most of what is needed it seems is: 1. Permissions to use the code for the weapons from U4E(for the grenades) 2. The models (from what i hear they are available just need to be tweaked into ut2k4 "Format") (not being a modeller no clue what that takes and finally someone convincing Meowcat to look into porting his YARM pack to BW(if at all possible) his work can be found on the epic forums as "Yet Another Real-life Mod" but take my post here with a grain of salt cause i dont know much about how hard/possible it is to port over these codes/models to work under BW's Framework |

Have you seen their website? Hasn't been updated in 5+ years and now, BU has shut it down. Heck, I remember trying to contact them years ago when their website was still up to see if they were still alive but I still never recieved an answer. ... Oh, memories of way back when. ![]() Anyway, 2. I have not seen a variant of the Gravity Hammer in any of the weapon packs. Brute Shot's missing too, I think. Let's see, also the Missile Pod. |
