These aren't technical or support questions, more like a request for advice if you folks are up for it. Firstly, are the maps provided with Ballistic Weapons Bot supported? I haven't hit any on my map cylces but was just curious. The next one deals with the swapping using the Ballistic Weapons mutator, I do use the latest version of Sgt Kelly's weapon pack. I setup a system for replacement and just need some tips on how to make this better. Shield Gun - Melee Weapons Assault Rifle - Pistols Bio-Rifle - Grenades Shock Rifle - Sub Machine Guns Mine Layer - BX5-SM Land Mine Grenade Launcher - Grenade Launchers Link Gun - Tech Assault Rifles Minigun - Assault/Battle Rifles Flak Cannon - Shotguns Rocket Launcher - Rocket Launchers Avril - AA/AT Launchers Lightning Gun - Heavy Machine Guns Sniper Rifle - Sniper Rifles Ion Painter - RX22A Flame Thrower Redeemer - BMF Tactical Nuke Target Painter - ? ? ? ? Now the reason I have assault rifles for the minigun is because I didn't want too many Heavy MG's spamming all over the place, hence why I moved them to the lightning gun as the lightning gun is more sparse than the minigun naturally in UT. The question I have is though, is the Lightning gun more common than the Sniper Rifle? Reason I ask is because i'd like to keep a desent balance of sniper rifles and being the UT Sniper Rifle seems more uncommon than the Lightning Gun, should I swap Heavy MG's to the Sniper Rifle slot and Sniper Rifles to the Lightning Gun slot? Also I was wondering what would be a good replacement for the Target Painter? I appreciate and all help and feedback. |

Hello! If you mean the BE maps, they (should) have bot support. Sniper rifle and Lighting gun are very similar and most maps have either one or the other. Don't know which one is used the most stock. You could even control what you want with the "all lightning gun" mutator that makes all snipers lightning guns and IIRC there is a vice versa thing too. For the target painter, the user HerrGeneral has made a load of different airstrikes that you could use, the mod is somehwere around here, maybe someone else has it or knows where it is. |

I think the Lightning Gun might be the more common of the two. I see the sniper rifle popping up more often in ONS and AS maps. I personally have energy style sniper weapons go in LG (like the railgun and M2020), and then the more classic ballistic ones (R78, M30A1) in Sniper Rifle. But for what you're looking for... I'd probably recommend putting MGs in Sniper Rifle. |

I was pretty sure on the same thing seeing the lightning gun more than the sniper rifle. Of course on custom maps it could go either way and UT2K3 maps for sure the lightning gun would be there over the sniper rifle. |
