I don't know if this is the right place or not. But I want to learn how to make weapon scripts for ut2004. Or is this site for Ballistic Weapons Mod only?

It is. And it's quite dead, sadly. But I'd like to see some tutorials for making weapons for BW too, because the links in the other thread are long dead and the development of the mod and its community packs had stopped a few years ago.

Wow, that is so sad to hear. Well Kirei I guess its just you and me trying to make weapons.
I am a newbe at scripting weapons, but I have made a few weapons and if you are willing to share your knowledge of weapon scripting I will also share some of my scripts I made from eight different weapons. What do you say?

Eh, I would gladly share with you if I knew anything about making BW stuff. I'm just lurking around, hoarding all BW stuff I can find, for the times when the links go down. Having a tutorial would be something of a reassurance that I can make something new myself, if I happen to have the time (which I don't, at the moment).

But if you have anything you want to share, you're welcome to post it. I'm sure that the few people who are still around would appreciate any BW-related content.

Thank you Blade sword, I have been looking for you a long time now.
Its good to here from again.
I went to the UT2004 forum but I didn't get any messages there, I will check back later.
If you mean the UE4 forum, I never go there, maybe I should tho.

Hey, do you anything about making total conversion mods?

Alrighty then, I will start work on making all of the Halo weapons. I made scripts for most of the Halo weapons, I just need to finish a few things like the flame thrower and add animations to the sword and grenade.

One thing I need help with: maybe two or three :D
Is there a way to make a Sticky Grenade, that is a grenade that sticks to what ever object you throw it at.
Also, is there a way to make a fired projectile magnetically drawn to its target?
You know, like a heat seeking bullet, but only effective with in a few meters of the target fired at?
I need this type of script/code for two weapons, the Needler and the alt fire (Plasma build up charge) on the Plasma Pistol.

Technically you can do that, but I suggest to see in the UT forums if you want such help however for your sticky grenade, you can use scripts from BW if you want to add them to it., since the Battle rifle pretty much launches that, only change the proximity for a timer and you have it.
Other than that in UT you can take a look at the grenade launcher grenades they are sticky too.
But for coding really aside for pointing you towards existing scripts I can't do much, you can also check for the target seeking stuff at weapons such as UT rocket launcher and the Avril considering they both have target seeking codes, you can also try to look at link gun's alt fire you might find interesting stuff.
So with this you can pretty much have the scripts you need from there.
