We gave Azareal more than enough chances. He has had these bursts of anger many times, and we managed to tolerate it, but when he had his last one, there was absolutely nothing to provoke him. He left weeks before voluntarily, all was quiet and there was no communication between this community and him. And all of a sudden he just ups and throws a fit.

yeah, it does get interesting... one thing i learned is wut i know is not all trolls are bad, they do make meaningless points but do provide the humor forums needs, and many mods and admins tolerate it since the 'super troll' doesn't really bash anyone or stuff like that...they are SUPER RARE though.

We do need humor, cause humor is good!

nevertheless, wutever that crazy dupe does stirs a commotion.

the sudden outbursts just tell me that he aint no normal human being.

The funny part's the irony of the outburst.

It stemmed from a server that renamed an AMDK map as its own creation and accusing that somehow the community is advocating it, as assumed.

Then he steals stuff himself in retaliation, thinking it's fair game.

BTW AMDK tag was put in The name, and the name was changed to something that made fun of azrael, not by me I dont have the authority to change map names.

Yeah, the ABA guys changed the name after I politely asked them to change it. Because, you see, politely asking gets things done much better than ranting and raving. I think they ended up changing it to HatersGarden or something funny like that.

I don't know, how the drama here looked like exactly, though i think Azarael had some resonable balance changes, and some not so good ones, like making limb shots count as body shots, but i guess that was just temporary.

i swear this dude beats sum of the trolls i used to hammer on(Me was FMR Mod on older forum) back in the day lolz, we never had anyone like this crazy son.

The closest thing we had was a dude who keeps making pointless texts of words that are like a failed English Essay that would drag on for pages b4 I or sum of the other peeps at the time would erase it.

We didn't bother to ban him until the guys there kept complaining, it wasnt until our Admin agreed that he had to go that we bashed him with the BanHammer of Justice.

He tried to avert it by making false accounts, but it was in vain, i found him first and i bashed him again.

Then the dude sent threats at me(since he blamed me for everything) threatening to hack my account, and maybe he did, one of my ModDB accounts was hijacked, but that was also taken care of.

That the last time i saw the douchbag....better be, dont want to see that fugly face again.

i, don't realy use to care about personal stuff on forums so i rarley bother myself with such comments.

He seemed enthusiastic. If he was realy trolling, a more intelligent solution would be to automatikally move his posts into a separate subforum where "flagged" peoples posts would go (wherever it was intended to go) also moderaters would get notification about flagged persons new posts, and their intended target topics in a separate place (not in their inbox), so they could allow them to go into the main place if there is no hatefull stuff. Its rather easy to implement.. and i think its better then banning persons.

The problem with that though, is if u make pointless pages of text, its pretty much spamming, and unless u do it in a dedicated spam subforum, im pretty sure ur not allowed to spam. He also sumtimes bashed the peeps there, irritating the users. He also tried hacking into our accounts, but he lacked the knowledge how to do so, and was very weak in that field, so despite the threats he made, he took little to no action on it. Though sumtimes he would get sumbody else to get the work done for him.

still, it was the admins decision, not mine. That just a story of mine, not quite sure how it goes with Azarael however, but i assume he created more commotion than the trolls i encountered.
Its mainly due to the fact that Azarael makes spontaneous outbursts and threats and also given the fact he does things that purely doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Who does that?

He was very intelligent, but a very arrogant prima donna and like to belittle and attack others that didn't have the same opinion as him.

While I did have the utmost contempt for him, why is this thread still open.

honestly, i dont no anymore, the dude who started it asked that the dude is still round, but now, were just talking about him and his rather nasty past.

Also, CMGuy, not only are your posts about banning other people off-topic, but you are not in a position to talk about the banning situations on these forums. We do not publicly release the details of the people who get banned, and as these can be delicate situations, speculation is certainly not welcome or needed. There is no 'need' to talk about this because "we dont get much of these incidents here much".

As a previous moderator yourself, I'm sure you understand the importance of discretion.
