I was posting that keeping in mind that it's just a visual glitch and don't affects gameplay.
And since what Sgt.Kelly posted, if SRS M2 will get a new model, my post about this glitch would become unactual.

I've encountered more problems. I dropped 3 weapons on the ground (these are: HMC-117, A73-E, LS-440). Then, 5 sec before disappearing, they've changed their models! (A73-E to A73, LS-440 to LS-14, HMC-117 to Flamethrower).
That A49 drives me VERY crazy... In one of my matches I've killed a bot who overheated that A49 and don't cooled it properly. I picked it up and it wasn't able to fire at all(while still having ammo).

Elaborate on the models changing before despawning, if you could. Are the textures actually changing? Because all the ones you mentioned are using the same models as the ones they turn into. I'm not sure what is happening, is there an overlay going on them that reveals the hidden geometry or are they changing colors?

As for the A49, yeah, that one's a bugger. He is working on it diligently. It may take some pretty radical changes if it means getting this thing released by the end of the weekend.

The de-spawning issue is known and happens to all guns that don't use their own base pickup model. That issue won't be fixed until all the weapons have their own models.

The PC is going through its 3rd reformat after some issues with the first two, but I'll be working diligently to get this thing fixed up. A lot of these will be quick fixes, and I think only the A49 and Sawn Offs will pose a challenge.

Is this one of the problems of it? Yeah the effects don't properly show up, particularly when dual wielding...
Its ok when in only one hand however, I just found this out when dueling recently.

I found a new bug in the LS14.

I shoot the three rockets in zooming mode but when I reload the three rockets, in the first rocket the rifle returns to the zoom scope before completing the reload animation.

The LS14 rocket bug has been fixed and I'm looking into the unscope bug now. The A49 should be fixed, and I'm currently testing it out.

Edit: The A49 is fixed! It will also get progressively more damaged as you overheat it. This will serve as a downside to using the alt-pri combo burst or boost jumping too much. It also has gotten new effects for this update.

With release coming very soon, I have a big decision to make for the pack. A large amount of pack assets come from the BWBPPrototypes package, (sounds, textures, models) which not everybody who downloads the pack will use.

I can either remove all the excess content to 'trim the fat' so to speak on the main package, or leave all that extra data in to retain prototype compatibility. What do you guys think?

I would go for compatibility. I mean if it's that much, you might as well just include it.

I'd leave it as groundwork for up'n'coming stuff. Yeeey.

I think it would cut down on problums.

I think its best if you make it as a separate pack for the upcoming stuff.
It would get troublesome with all that munched together data....

In other words, cut the big piece into smaller easier to manage pieces.

However, if that doesn't work, I guess you can leave all the prototypes contents with the rest of the pack.

I also think that you should leave the prototype stuff in, if you remove it now, you maybe run into more problems than this trim would be useful.

So I go on ModDB to check for updates to mods I follow there, to see that of all things it was BW that had updated. Naturally I had a look and finally came all the way back here. Boy am I glad I didn't uninstall UT2k4, since my disc is over 100 miles away.

I'm looking forward to this.

I prefer keep all these content in the main package, in the future this content could serve for the V10 pack.

Or also, like say CMGuy, if not much work, can also separate the main package in a final and independant V9 file, and in other the new V10 beta package.

Alright, Prototypes will remain in the pack. I've decided I'm going to do a UMod install for this too, so getting this up and running should be as easy as a double click.

Right now I've handled most of the bugs you guys have submitted except:

- CYLO leaving wrong impact marks. (I might just make it leave bullet holes.)
- Bulldog grip changing after reload. (Minor.)

oh God, I do not like UT4MODs. Is it too much to ask to have both? I really just will not do that, I have nothing but problems with them.

Sawn offs and coach guns overhauled.
CYLO knife now only leaves bullet holes.
A49 overheat code overhauled.
HMC overheat code overhauled.

I'm pretty sure the only stone left unturned is the NEX Plas-Edge's netcode. Since that gun now overheats on wqlls italian doesn't respond well to replication and therefore is even more finicky about exploding in your face. Lovingly typed okay phone.
