And I'm going to guess its the M2020. It looks like it would suit the M30 very well but I have a slight hunch that the M30 may keep its current black M50 style. (After all the M50 looks good in black.)

Regarding to the chainsaws: i would go for the Combat Chainsaw, even if the Chainsaw Sword was more funny to use, it reminds me to a hedge trimmer

Awesome Gauss Rifle You have there!

As with the others, I assume its either a new Model for the M30, or the M2020 Rifle.

Those of you who guessed it was the M2020 Gauss Rifle would be right. Those of you that thought it was the M30A2 Tactical Rifle were also right (at some point in the past)!

While this is literally the M30A2's model, I've grown attached to the black M50 and assigned this model to the new M2020 DMR. The M30A1 will remain a pretty black M50.

Now people, I ask you, what does that small button do on the gun's very large hand guard? In the future it will be shiny and red, but we haven't really came up with any idea for its function.

Maybe it could release the battery, as part of a double reload system: Reload the magazine and the battery to magnetize the bullets.

The wire goes back to the secondary capacitor then up to the primary coils, presuming its coil and not rails, some kind of boost.

yeah you did Warlock, a gaus rifle uses coils lining and/or wrapped around the barrel, where as a rail gun the bullet is actually touch 2 rails(hence there names(magnetic fields are called gaus fields ) that is if i remeber science class correctly

SAR? Sub-Assault Rifle?

The vanilla Ballistic Weapons has got a SAR-12 and I sure liked it, so if it's a SMG/SAR hybrid/combo that's good.

Couple of assault rifles will be great I can see a Gauss Rifle, that looks good.

Speaking about the Combat Chainsaw, I prefer the XL R-8 Chainsaw Sword from the prototypes pack. It reminds me the UT99 chainsaw! It will be this weapon in v10? (Please, please!).

I'm still confused on this ancient weapon thing. Other than maybe the coachgun/sawn off (which were based heavily off modern models), all our other weapons are either future'd up takes on modern weapons (like most BW weapons), simply are modern weapons, or are completely unique and hold no major influence from any actual weapons, like the Bulldog/MR-DR.

What weapons are ancient...?

I've nothing against ancient weapons. I say I like sci-fi weapons than real or modern weapons or weapons based in war or wargames.

I never liked guns in real life, hence the reason why I like Unreal and UT series or other games without real guns or modern weapons based in real guns.

Well I understand that, I prefer fictional weapons over real world equivelants, but someone said we made some ancient weapons and i really don't know what weapons they were referencing.

The Ronald ray gun's pretty old, or at lest a classic.
I like near future weapons, but I wouldn't mind more old stuff.

It appears that my previous off-hand comment about "ancient weapons" has caused a little confusion. Please allow me to explain myself:

1. I used "ancient" metaphorically to address "non-futuristic"
2. I was not being specific towards anything
3. There's only a tiny handful of weapons in the entire BW mod that I would consider non-futuristic
4. I don't have a problem with that

This weapon pack is not "literally full of ancient weaponry". At least not from our own 2012 perspective, some may be considered literally ancient from the perspective of the BW universe and that's where the metaphor came from

All I was saying is that I have a preference for futuristic things. No more, no less.

Looking at the video...looks like you got a slightly more detailed version of DM-Gael. Also what is that music?

The weapons are sounding great, sounds effects sure have come a long way in this mod.

I LOL'ed when all you had was health grenades to throw at the bots, then you were like "screw this" and jumped into the pit.

The custom version of Gael is a UC2 styled version. Dm-Gael2K6, I believe. I think the music is UC2 as well. It's quite fancy looking.

Hmm Beretta. In regards to the GRS1 akimbo mode, are there plans to make it function more like the UT99 Enforcer?

I.E: Right click to hold the GRS1, or both GRS1's sideways. Rather than use iron sights to hold one GRS1 sideways next to your eye.
