While I don't follow everything you're saying, I do appreciate the technical explanations. Maybe sooner or later I will. I do get that now though.

So every weapon has different ViewAimFactor and other variables that control how far out of whack things can get... I actually get this lol. I also see now how it would be not feasible to have an option that just disables all this with a simple toggle.

Set yer stuff to 0 to remove that. It's a multiplier. #X0=0. so yeah.

I've noticed that the first shot with bulldog's accurate, but can't say anything about the others. I tend to die when I pick it up since i tend to use the grenades too close.

To turn it all off would be to pretty much disable the entire mod itself and just use the guns. it's all written into the code, so you could if you used a basic gun swap mutator, I would imagine.

So just within the last ten posts, it was said you can't disable all that stuff entirely... I know reading the whole thread before a reply is added is not feasible, but the last dozen posts? Come on man.

You can disable some of the values completely, but not all of them.

No, using the guns with Swap Tool for example makes them retain their ballistic values even without any other ballistic mutators.


But if you want more real-life guns without recoil but with reloading, I think there was some other real-life guns mod somewhere (not YARM), I need to have a look at that again.

Yeah, it's been needed for TOO long. I finally know why it won't "just work" though, and now I know what to talk about when I say "I can't shoot straight". Now I can put it into words.

I'm also happy to announce that the M2020 now has a working ammo counter.

I also give thank you for the explanations (in special the terms AimSpread, ChaosAimSpread and XInnacuracy), now I know why certain weapons (like MR-DR88 or SRAC-21/G) don't have exact impacts where the crosshair aims and gun movements even when my settings are to 0.000000. I will apreciate this.

For the AH104, the primary fire is (like says Sgt. Kelly) extremely accurate, but when you activates the laser dot, the weapon turns to have AimSpread (I don't understand this...), but for me no problem with this weapon.

I agree with Nemephosis, it would be nice if there only one option to disable all realistic features (recoil, aims...) love the UT2004 100% style! But I understand the purpose itself have these mods, and that I respect.

Oh oops, I forgot about that. I was just excited to see 100,000 again.

For the AH104, activating the laser or scope will cut your AimSpread to 1/3, and activating both with cut it down to 1/4.

And I certainly hope we release the beta before the Mayan apocalypse. The gun's screen is right above the trigger by the way.

Nice gun model. What's with the honeycomb texture everywhere?

The accuracy remains the same, though the idle chaos is reduced under the rational that having an aiming dot will aid in keeping the gun on target.

Additionally, it gives players a reason to use the laser when aiming down sights.


The honeycomb pattern is that gun's high tech 'motif'. I may be removing it from the scope though. It looks a little funky on the lense.

Call it "reinforced carbon fiber", that was the first thing I thought of when first seen it.

Or you can say the gun was invented by insectoid aliens,at least it would explain the scope

i would like to report a "bug".

When you are blinded by the XM84 you have the same problem as with the flashdevice on the AM67.
Once you open the scoreboard and close it, the blind-effect will disappear.

Its may known, but i thought, i still report it here.

Yeah, when I found it I was really excited. They even had the BWBP9 guns on there.

In other news, it is now February! We've got another round of new guns to display, however their progress depends on the speed and efficiency of Captain Xavious and Blade Sword. I'm going to be mainly working on code and effects, so pretty pictures may be in short supply.
