This is all subject to change and I may or may not be correct in part, but the grenade is it's own item. When used you will have a throw for one fire mode and a melee attack for the other. If you have the grenades and the M4 at the same time, you can additionally shoot the Grenades out of the M4.

I'm having some fun with the effects on the M2020 Gauss Rifle. Right now it's in a very WIP stage.

For those of you who missed the prototype beta, this gun will be a semi-auto accelerated 7.62mm sniper. It'll leave a big ol' blue gauss trail like it's cousins the M30A2 and M75, so the R78 will remain the only 'stealthy' dedicated sniper.

It's not high def, and it's not particularly good gameplay, but it has kerazy good anims by Blade Sword and Captain Xavious. Hats off to them!

I like all of the weapons very much, just a few things:

I still think the longhorn looks like held farther away from the players face than all the other guns. That way it looks somewhat small to me. Or was that done on purpose?

I think the sound for the medi-arrow of the tranquilizer pistol, when it is mounted on the front should be changed. That M50 grenade sound got a bit overused IMO. Do you have something planned for that already? If not, I could try to make a completely new sound for that, I already did some custom sounds for some well-known mappers and they were satisfied with it.

Most of the guns are using M50 sounds as a placeholder. It takes time to find quality reload sounds for these guys. Though if you have extra sounds I'd love to hear them. More is always merrier!

I don't report any bugs because the weapons are in early working stage.

Some impressions:

- How many damage has the dart in comparation of their poison bullets? (I like the animation of when you fires a dart, his adaptor is expulsed from the pistol!).
- A good and big sniper rifle this M2020! (Love it!). What is this muzzle flash when you takes the weapon? A weapon activation method?
- Wohooo! A grenade launcher! The Longhorn maybe shows a very long arm. (And very good, you stamped a bot in the wall! Funny! 10 points!!). I can see how the grenade is loaded, I like this.
- Nice sights for the MJ51, and good invent this Chaff Grenade. (Congratulations! You make a head shot in the smoke! ).

@baryonyx The longhorn is a pretty small weapon. I think what's making it look so funny is that ugpy arm sticking out. I'll be fixing that soon.

Longhorn could be tilted back a bit without much problem. I'd like to see it with the left arm fixed first though, might really improve things.

I have a question abt the karma of the grenade shown. If you throw it like a stick grenade, will it behave like one ? (Like in the red orchestra mod)

Been a fan of BW ever since it first came out, and also of this here weapon pack by the Sarge.
Though I'm encountering a problem.

Recently had to reinstall UT2004, and I downloaded all these weapon packs again.
But Sgt. Kellys v9 and/or v9.1 won't work.

I've installed the BW packs in the right order (v200 - v21 - bp4 - v2.5), then Sgt. Kellys', but the weapons will not appear anywhere in the loadout section, nor in the weapons database at the settings menu.

Has anyone else had this? How do I fix this?

Try removing v.20 and 21.
v.2.5 is a standalone.
Their is a uninstall in 2.5 to remove the other ones.

If things worked befor its probable a mis-installation.
Double check that all the files are in the right places, UT updated to the most current version and/or wait for developer to answer.

You only need Ballistic Weapons 2.5 (And then, Sgt. Kellys Bonus Pack V9.1 or V9.2).

But, if Sgt. Kellys Bonus Pack don't work or doesn't appear in Loadout, maybe you need the UT2004 Bonus Packs installed.

I've got the Unreal Anthology pack, UT2004 comes with the ECE bonuspack.

I've reinstalled, only installed 2.5, after that Sgt. Kelly's pack and it still doesn't put the guns in the game.

The .zip/.rar just unzips itself normally within the UT2004 folder too.

Um you might want to duble check to make sure that their all in the right spots and not just laying there, in the 2004 folder not the Anthology folder.
Program files in program, textures in textures, animation in bla bla bla....

Hmm... This is strange.

In these situations would be recommendable see the "UT2004.log" from your UT2004 System folder and see every "Warning" message.

Can you see some warning messages about the Sgt. Kelly's Weapons?

Alright, the warning messages I get out of my UT2004.textdocument (which I assume is the .log, since there is no .log) are the following:

Warning: Failed to load 'NULL': Can't resolve package name
Warning: Failed to load 'Mesh None.': Can't resolve package name
Warning: Failed to load 'BallisticUI': Can't find file for package 'BallisticUI'
Warning: Failed to load 'Texture BallisticUI.Crosshairs.M50Outa': Can't find file for package 'Texture BallisticUI.Crosshairs.M50Outa'

Me being a computer retard believes that's the source of the trouble, am I right?

Edit: @ {ABA}Worlock, I unzipped the .rar in the UT2004 folder, not the Anthology folder, and all the files just go into the folders.
Anyways, I'm going to remove the pack again and then manually copy all the files to their folders, I'll keep you updated.
