Ok, this is compact assault rifle which will be approximately an alternative to SAR-12, it uses heavy subsonic 9x39mm ammo. Good choise for <300m ranges.
9A-91 is 9x39mm (SP-5, SP-6, PAB-9) compact assault rifle. Equipped with 1p63 collimator sight and silencer. Now i am working on animation part.
Polycount: ~5000-7000k (depending on the modules).
This is not final version.

Looks great! If I'm not mistaken that looks like its some sort of AK based receiver. Nice!

PM-84 "Glauberyt" (WIP)

PP-19 "Bizon" is classic AKS74U based SMG, designed for fast and accurate fire at close ranges, equipped with foldable stock, detachable silencer and unusual magazine, which is often confused for a grenade launcher. The cylinder below the barrel is in fact a 64-round helical-feed magazine. It uses 7.62x25mm TT ammo.

PM-84 "Glauberyt" is a personal weapon intended for combat and self-defense at ranges up to 150m. It features compact design, minimum overall dimensions, small weight, very good accuracy, and fire stability. Supposed to be an alternative to Fifty-9 SMG. Equipped with cobra sight. It uses 9x18 PM ammo.

These 2 SMG's will be last in my first release of the SMG pack. In total that release will include 4 SMG's:
1. S48M2 "Tempest" - Heavy .45cal SMG with underbarrel 30mm GL.
2. PP-19 "Bizon" - classic AKS74U based 7.62x25mm SMG with silencer and capacious magazine.
3. Vityaz-SN - is PP-19 based 9x18mm SMG, with various modules and attachments.
4. PM-84 "Glauberyt" - UZI-like 9x18mm SMG, characterized simplicity and compactness.

HK G3A3 Assault rifle. It uses 7.62x51mm ammo, that make it very powerful weapon. I am planning to make it in the future in two versions of the handguard of this weapon: ventilated version and a wide version (currently). The ventilated version will be with iron sight or collimator sight like regular assault rifle, while the version with wide handguard will be like sniper rifle as an alternative to SRS 900. Polycount: ~7-9k (depending on the versions), in quads of course.

You can check the tri polycount by doing a crtl + T and and cancel it after having the tri polycount with a crtl + z, I suggest to save before doing the manipulation just in case.
my own suggestion about the quad polycount is about staying under under around the 6000 if that's possible.

It's unnecessary operation, if the polycount in quads for example is 7000 polys, then in triangles it will be 7000x2=14000, because every quad includes 2 triangles. It may be useful for those who can't double number in mind.

Just a heads up here, I mostly polished up one of the guns and is checking out another, though the process is slow and might take some time however as I am somewhat ill this week...

RPD (WIP)
The RPD is a light machine gun, it uses intermediate 7.62x39mm cartridge.

What are the polycounts on these models?

Very different, depending on the model and its geometry, varies from ~2000 to ~15000, for example RPD has ~6000 polys, the most polycount has AK107 ~15000 polys, it's extremely high detailed model, and the least amount of polys has pistols MR-443 and Browning HP ~2000 polys.

Don't take my word for it, I don't really know much about polycount performance, but I recall some previous discussions about it and we they all seem to settle on keeping the count below 10.000 polys. Don't know if it was "quads" or "triangles".
You might want to check with the "experts" around here if you haven't already.

It's about triangles but actually it's better to keep these under 15 000 tris about ~8 000 poly in blender.
Actually I think he should optimize some of his guns because in those captures when I see the wires I can see pretty much that the models needs optimizations.

You do realise that the weapon models in battlefield have at Max 5,000 Polys, Give or take.
That level of detail is insanly to high.

Why i should care about this? First of all my work is not commercial project. You do realise that today is 2012 year? And modern (1-2 years old) PC hardware can hold more than 15k polys per model. And battlefield slightly less than fully is console priority project. Also battlefield is far not an etalon of model detalization level.

I need to remind you that not everyone has a powerful PC, this WILL effect the performance of the people using your guns who have low end machines, and will only provide negative feedback that we don't want.

Its really a suggestion, but I sure hope you can make as least low poly or optimized versions of teh guns, it would do good for all of us. :/

In any case, I like progress, something I surely see.

AEK-973s 7.62x39 Assault Rifle, has similar recoil-balancing operating system to AK107, but uses AK47\AKM\AK103 ammunition and equipped with foldable stock.

The problem is that the work will be higher if he doesn't fix the models before the UV mapping phase.
I'm not saying this to be boring, just try to avoid exceeding the 10 000 tris.
If you have problems concerning the UV mapping ask captain xavious; he have enough experience and wise view to provide you the right advices in that concern.
