For me it's that the model doesn't really look like it's made for BW, more like Counter-Strike or Battlefield. You guys said that you got it from Gamebanana with the permission of the author. It's too 'High Quality' which makes it look out of place a bit. The M4 model on the other side fits though.

I don't think it's quality inconsistency, I'm leaning more towards the Holo being too big, now.
That thing looks so huge on such a tiny looking gun (especially when using irons)

I don't think it's a problem, I just don't like it.

And like I said before, the UMP has a special place in my heart as my favourite SMG, so I'll shed a tear everytime it fires something other than the .45 ACP

Nice video, I totally like the Defibrillators animation, it looks so cool when they hit something.

I personally think the LK looks all fine.

But I agree with the PUMA thing. May I suggest adding a conventional version for those who are not that energy-weapon-addicted?

What's the mod called that upgrades the kill messages?
Like "Vani [Shield Gun] Random Citizen" ?

For standard UT2004 you can edit the messages in the XWeapons.int in the System folder (http://i.imgur.com/TbGCF.jpg). So for the Assault Rifle the line would look like this

(don't forget to backup the original file first)
But I dunno where you can find the death messages for the BW weapons though.

EDIT: You can also color the messages (http://i.imgur.com/g6XvO.jpg). With this program (use WinRAR to unpack the ACE file) you can easily get the color codes. Just paste them in front of the words you want to color (e.g. my current config http://i.imgur.com/O7Sdk.png).

Knowing Kelly, I bet he already has a regular old fashioned UMP coded up for all us UMP purists while the PUMA remains as it is. I hope we get both since the PUMA looks like fun while the UMP is there for nostalgia

But there's something far more important we should be focusing on: THE HVPC GETS ITS OWN MODEL AND IT LOOKS BADASS! I always wanted to see it get a new model. I am crying tears of joy!

Yeah I hope so too because when he first introduced the gun it looked like this:

Just an ordinary UMP without any attachments or special mods.

Its an SMG grenade launcher.

Also, making it just another SMG would offer nothing new to BW. We've got enough guns that we shouldn't have to resort to bland bullet hoses.

But if bland bullet hoses are what people want?

Um... learn to code them?

I like the PUMA's current implementation too. It reminds me of the shock rifles alt fire. Can the shield deflect PUMA shots? If so, that means we can finally play a BW version of Shock Ball tennis.

Seeing the video that uses the fixed BCore, and seeing that the fixed BCore has released by Azarael... Sergeant Kelly's V10 weapons only work with that version? Or it work also with the official Ballistic Weapons 2.5? Or is it compatible with both?

And speaking about the PUMA's functionality, why not implement a camouflage version that shoots bullets? So, everyone likes real weapons will be happy, and others (like me) who prefers energy weapons, also happy.

The black texture can be utilized for bullet version and make another (sci-fi texture style) for the energy version (just a suggestion).

I'm happy to say BCore fixed seems to work with anything that worked with stock BCoreV25.

Interesting. Does that mean I can play with inaccuracy and recoil and yet the bots still hit me?

Kind of. Bots still have inaccuracy based on their difficulty, so if you want them to be less accurate, lower the difficulty.

The BW packages wont unpack in windows server 2008 , i added the packages in ut2004.ini but it wont show up but on my windows 7 its working whats wrong?

Tested it today and it's really good. Finally the bots are able to hit and kill me with inacc. and recoil settings above 0.00% instead of just hitting everything but me.

Yep! The mod weapons are being adjusted for greater bot accuracy as well, so you'll be getting more of a challenge regardless of which core you take.
