What exactly was updated?

I have a little problem with X83A1... Its 3rd person model has no skin, "standard" green texture is shown instead of it. Also there's wrong ammo icon.

I love the new Chaff grenade distance when fired with the carbine.

I don't personally know what was changed, as far as I know, all or most of the bugs listed were addressed.

As for the volt mitts' charge bar, I am told that scaling the hud may affect the display of this in some way.

Your other notes, Terg500, can probably be addressed.

@P-x-N did this problem with the X83 appear with this newest version?

I noticed that it is possible to fire the bayonet from the AK-490 before the weapon switching delay is over.
Although I actually like it this way, and it might be intentional?
Only the bayonet is unaffected, the standard primary fire remains delayed even if the special is used shortly before.

And another one is, when you die with the Chaff Grenades equipped, you do not drop the projectile while you're preparing a melee strike.
It is not dropped anyway, you actually toss it on death, which is probably not supposed to happen.
I think the projectile should only fall to the floor if you actually armed it, which would include holding down the primary fire, as well as having used the Special or Reload before.

Has anyone else encountered a bug where you're able to shoot the Redwood Coach Gun twice although it says "Double Fire"? When pressing the "Fire" key immediately after firing the Coach Gun always shoots a second time...

By the way, I was pretty disappointed when I noticed that the melee chaff grenade attack doesn't make you explode.
Or is there a chance? If not, could you make it explode in like 1/100? Would make the weapon way more risky to use and unique.

I noticed that once you empty a magazine the bullets are missing for that life (resets after you respawn). They are not when you reload and have bullets left in the mag.
Also a magazine that still has 1 bullet inside shows 2 (or more) when being pulled out.

- FG50 Machinegun spawns with 40 rounds in the gun + 100 in the inventory, picking up an ammo pack in loadout gives 50 rounds, this seems odd given the drum capacity, would make more sense to spawn with 40 + 80, ammo pickup giving additional 40 rounds

- Combat gloves primary fire does not deplete charge bar, not sure if this is a bug or feature

- AK-490 seems underpowered, 17-29 damage on body shots compared to 40+ on the SRS battle rifles, also the clip size of 20 seems too small, I believe most weapons of the AK series used a 30 round magazine, sometimes loaded with 27 rounds to avoid jamming

These are just some brief observations from a few bot-matches, I haven't had a chance to try these in multiplayer yet

@WaSim:2 The volt mitts are not intended to deplete charge bar on primary fire. When alt fire does deplete the charge bar, it is a much more powerful attack with area damage, healing, and knock back. Otherwise it does maybe half damage with no area effects.

@Vani The MOA-C does explode on hit if you prime it first with reload or special key. And that coachgun bug, it seems like we encountered that before. Unless you mean there's two individual shots? Its actually just firing two rounds in rapid succession rather than both at the same time like the M290 or MRT6.

I reinstalled both weapon drops and now it works.
Is the golden AK a seperate weapon or a camo thing? Because I could not find it in the weapon list...

It's a VERY rare camo.

EDIT: Wow you guys fixed the M4 mag and .50 sights real quick!

A group of old oversights:
1. You can suicide with NEX-PlasEdge pressing Recock. As for me, it's better be set to Weapon Special 2 (it was not used anyways). Also, after today's fixed core update it doesn't works.
2. NEX's kills with it's energy core detached use Fists's death messages.

@Anubis, those are all intended (other than something not working anymore? Please elaborate, I don't follow).

There's no reason to move the suicide to Special 2 because its just an easter egg that really shouldn't be a problem for you typical person. The cocking key has no use in combat with only a couple exceptions anyways.

Fist death messages when its powered down is used because you are punching the enemy (I know, not a very good animation) and doesn't warrant a new set of death strings when a set already made fits it good enough. Of course, its one of my earlier weapons to model/animate and it could use a serious updating.

As I mentioned earlier, after an update to Ballistic Core Fix the Suicide function of NEX isn't working anymore.
It was a minor but still a bug in BW where pressing Recock with melee weapon equipped would jam it completely (i.e. the weapon can only block, not attack, although it unstucks itself after blocking).
I guess the fix was done such that pressing Recock with melee weapons equipped now does nothing, that's why Suicide with NEX is no longer possible.

Also you're not able to detach the chaff grenade from the carbine once you've attached it. You can only fire it in order to do so. Why not the default fire key so you can switch back to the carbine in a dangerous situation...

When aiming down the scope of the FSSG-50, if you have to reload, the game still aims acts as if you're still looking down the scope (shows the scope graphics and everything). It's pretty minor, but still a bug.

Also, having grenades in my inventory has the game select them in Loadout, then switch over to the FSSG or FG50. Not sure if this was intentional.

The muzzle flash from the AK490 seems like it's coming from inside the rifle, not from the muzzle. Also, the "[player] what sick man sends babies to fight him?" kill text is, I think, missing a word. I'm not sure, because that kill text and the killtext in the console are completely different, and I assume is for a failed attempt at stabbing that resulted in the stabber's death ([Player] attempted to shove his AK490 into [player]'s mouth).

On a off-topic note, I really hope the Spectre or LK is in the next pack. We need assault rifles that aren't beaten with an ugly stick...

A minor detail, but using the Volt Mitt secondary underwater DOESN'T blow you up (like the HVC-Mk9) and the Heavy Disrupter Grenade also doesn't do any extra damage underwater (just thought of checking it now).

What's up with this bug?



It occurs after taking out the nanoblade. The bug disappears when you take it for a second time but reappears after you die...

Must be referencing a nonexistant animation. Wondering if its not looking for an initial pullout animation.

I've seen that nanoblade bug happen several times before the weapon drop. Is it just getting repoted now?

Apparently... I'm not really sure why old bugs not even related to the new weapons are cropping up, to be honest.

Haven't seen that bug... and I did test the Nanosword quite a good bit...

Did you update to the lastest version of V10 WD1? I think that was an issue we fixed with an earlier patch.

Reinstalling WD1 didn't help.
Well, it's not bothering me, I'll just wait for the V10 release to fix it.

When I select the AK-490 or MJ-51 in Ballistic loadout, I spawn holding either the knife or grenade, then I have to manually switch to the rifle, this only started to happen after installing the April 13 core fix, it works fine with the standard BCore files

Just adjust your priorities.

Nope, doesn't work. It bothers me too.

It does that for me, but it pauses for about two seconds, then switches over to the new weapons.
