I found a minor issue with the AK-490: the ingame menu doesn't show the AK as empty (in red or orange)

I can confirm that both the X83A1 Anti-Materiel Rifle and R98 Hunting Rifle do not have proper world model textures in the latest files. (clean reinstall as of today, including AK490/MJ51 switching fix)

In addition, the latter rifle does not return to crosshairs after bolt even if this option is enabled in menu. +EDIT this is likely inherited from the R78 never returning to scope after bolt.

+ the R98 world model sometimes shows textures but not often.

So much research..

Winter 'ABA' semi auto doesn't have world texture.
Desert and Urban do not have world texture.
The R78 skin doesn't have world texture.
Fairly certain the three Tigers do not have world texture.

There's a 'golden' skin, haven't gotten that in testing though..

M30A1 camo'd auto model seems exceedingly rare ( 1 out of 8 ), world texture is default model.
Oh, and try tapfiring the AT/AA when reloading is disabled.

The secondary beam of the HMC-177 Photon Cannon if freakin' OP. It does like 15-27 damage every 0.1 seconds which can kill an opponent in just 0.4 seconds (~0.6-0.7 if he is maxed out with 199HP 200 SHD) http://i.imgur.com/dhBzaF4.jpg
And for that it needs just 10 out of 250 ammo. Please do something about this.

It's the same for the GRSXX Gold Pistol laser. I'm happy that Azarael gave uber-weapons a home with the killstreak system in the Loadout mode though.

Also, not sure if it was intentional, but I do agree with the AK being underpowered. Even the SAR and M50 seem better to me.

I feel the need to point out there are a number of guns that can do that as well, rockets come to mind.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen anyone survive a HAMR shell.

Hello folks, good job on the bug reports! I hurt my hand earlier, so I couldn't really answer or type anything, but now it's time to get back in the game.



The AK490 does more damage but with a slower fire rate (it ends up having practically the same damage per second DPS=249). It is better than the M50 at close range due to it being far more controllable.



The HMC-117 does 15.5 damage every .08 seconds to the chest. This results in a DPS of 193.75. That's worse than pretty much every assault rifle, as they normally float around the 200-300 range. For comparison, the M353 does 17 damage every .08 seconds to the chest.

The GRSXX, on the other hand, does 35 dmg every .08 and has a DPS of 437.5, haha. That gun is ultra lethal.


The bugs relating to the R98 and X83 are known. Unfortunately, the V10 WD1 release was bugged and is missing some assets. As you may have noticed, the assets for WD2 and WD3 are separate from those of WD1 (Which was basically V9), which is why they have not been fixed yet.

Well the singleplayer bots are really uber with those guns and their aiming which led me to complain.

that's because they can keep a reticle on you always. doesn't mean the bullet will hit though...

give them the shock rifle and you'll see what I mean.

V10 will indeed be the last version of this pack. Who knows what we'll do after that!

Then squeeze out every good idea you have before you finish it to make this pack the most epic mod ever (which it already is ofc).
Also will you guys remodel/reanim more old "bad" weapon models before you finish or will that continue as small updates after everything's done? Because I would really like seeing the AH208/Gold Gun getting an epic new DE model and animations. ^^

If only I knew how to model... I'd replace most of everything with shiny new futuristic models.

If you want to model just try to take a look at blender 3D and learn about modeling with it.
There is a few tutorials made on this forum, stuff on youtube and several people to ask about modeling stuff.
You just need to be patient before getting results.

Heads up folks! I've finally decided to update the front page of our megathread with much more pertinent information than the old V9 data that was up there.

The front page now explains the various components of V10, and will mark out which Weapon Drops belong to which pack. It also has a list of all the publicly available guns, which I will slowly populate with pictures and links.


Additionally, Weapon Drop 4 is the next scheduled Weapon Drop, and will augment the Main package. It will contain the remastered versions of the Redwood Coach Gun, Redwood Sawn Off, and AH208 'Eagle' Assault Pistol. It will also fix many of the bugs in the Main package, including the R98 and X83 world model issues.

Dang, I was hoping for the Spectre or LK05. ;w;

Yep! That's on the list too. Which guns would you guys like to see overhauled from v10? With the release of wd4, we'll have replaced 7 old guns with fancy pants new ones.
