Ah. that's not precision at all, that's... um. Multipurpose. Took me a minute to think of the word. It fills more than one niche of any given weapon.

That weapon as you describe would be the kind of weapon that there'd be no reason to use anything else. A weapon that fills that many separate niche would be absurdly overpowered.

Effectively, you want it to be explosive on contact, while also being a proximity mine and also a "smart" explosive. At full charge it's a sniper rifle that shoots grenades with no travel time.

I could see a manual det. of the charge being feasible, or just proximity, but not while traveling. Not with anything less than a full size rocket shell at least. And the other types of warheads wouldn't be feasible without a ballistic arc or self propellant.

All in all doable in a game environ, but I doubt you'll see something like it. it's hard enough to make a weapon that fills more than two niche at once as it is.

But then again we're talking about a weapons pack where you have golden glock capable of blowing up tanks in about two clips, a magic staff that heals you up to 150 by just holding it, a BFG, a soon to be added nuke launcher and even more stuff that many peoples can say are arguably overpowered so lets not bring balance into this okay ?



What my idea was in this was that with this weapons packs we can sort of come up with "class loadouts" every now and then, I mean if you want a area denial loadout automatically what you'll want is a deployable machine gun and a set of mines with a shotgun/rifle to deal with whatever is outside your gun's range...

But right now there's no real weapon that allows someone to make a "demolitions expert" loadout as of yet...It just feels to me as though explosives are under-used at the moment is all...

And I didn't really mean it as an instantaneously travelling projectile but more of a BORT round going really really FAR...and slightly faster than a BORT round...sorry for the confusing choice of words...

We have no "fancy" explosives guns as of yet and it annoys me...

To be honest I'd rather have a real freeze weapon for BW. It would require lots of good coding though, but the outcome would be epic.

Again, Longhorn meets that exceptionally well, and the PUMA further rounds out that role to boot.

Once V10 is fully released, if you wanted a demolitions loadout, you could pick BORT, any grenade/explosive, Longhorn/PUMA and then your choice of the Conquerer MGL, PUMA, or even the M46 for its general purpose role as an assault rifle + a sticky mine.

We've made it a point to expand the Grenade Launcher category greatly.

Grenade, HAMR, G5 RL, SMAT, the peacemaker and um. one of the SKAS variants that shoots explosions, can't remember which one it is. Maybe also Bulldog. Grab a BORT and there's a full explosive loadout.

Also the 3 weapons you list as examples are all classified as 'super weapons' but I see what you're saying though.

Ooooh. I forsee more Doom 2 styled Super Shotgun rampages in my future.

Using the Lightning Gun underwater damages you, and the Nova Staff doesn't even let you use the "Lightning" fire-mode. I think one of these should also apply to the Volt-Mitts's Secondary Fire.

Sawn-off is not removed, still using the old model. We didn't have time to fully update it for this release, but it does have a new model awaiting animations. It may have a new twist added to it too.

The Super-10 is the new Coach gun. Its probably using the same death messages since its kind of the same gun, just upgradified.

Unfortunately, in news that is surprisingly unsurprising, Azarael has left the mod team and leaked the betas to his server due to him not liking the name of the mod. In other news, the mod is now called Fartmaster Deluxe Community Frappachino Pack [FDCFP].

My antivirus program (Bullguard) has blocked access to the weapon drop 5 download (clicking "Download" on the mediafire page) because of malware reports...

That's a false alarm then. I don't have any viruses.


Here's my stuff:

Redwood Super-10
- In-game loadout menu name of the gun is still 'Redwood Coach Gun'
- BW man puts some crippled shells in the gun (IMG)
- Still uses old Coach Gun HUD icon

Mars-3
- Silencer animation broken (silencer only appears and disappears when firing)
- You can fire long before the silencer animation has finished
- Holo-less standard sights are not correctly aligned

AH208
- Third-person model shows the white scoped AH250 version (regardless of which camo you have)

AH250
- No camos visible in third-person (is always the white version)

The Mars Hunter's NV scope shows you the enemy's whole body even if you're only able to see a small part of it. Just like the marksman rifle's scope.

Still not sure if it's supposed to be like this...

Also I'm still wondering what's with the photon cannon's overcharged and 25% firemode...

Super-10:

Model in the weapons tab in options is small.

Can't load slugs in combat.

Ironsights are tilted.
