In fact, if it weren't for BW and SKWP, I wouldn't have started playing UT2004 to begin with. Especially with how randomly nasty the bots often are in UT2004, even compared to UT3. I've never seen bots that are tactically noobish/idiotic and sometimes can't even navigate correctly, but have almost literally god-like accuracy and damage-dealing capability on a whim regardless of difficulty setting until I started playing this game.

It's not entirely Azarael's fault. Additionally the mod indirectly lives on and gets updated through Ballistic Pro. And we already got TONS of weapons, you really want to abandon BW because you don't get any new weapons? (which isn't even true)
Rethink it and stay.

I think we do - the original RS pistol in game kind of serves as a replacement... though its kinda like a pop gun. But you can go all 47 with the burst fire mode and little laser pointers

The RS8 is an M1911 which I feel there is no point making an other.
I know it's not a .45, but it's still a 1911.

Yeah, the old RS04 actually was my stop-gap solution to a proper M1911. I've always wanted one in BW too.

What I wanted to see was a M1918 BAR like the one Gretel in Black Lagoon uses, only "modernized" like the FG42 stand-in (FG50).

I also would have liked to see a M1928 Tommy Gun, aka. the Chicago Typewriter. It would have been fun to shoot "Chicago Style" and BW doesn't have as many SMGs compared to other weapon types, even with SKWP.


At least the FG50 (FG42) made it in. That gun is one of my favorites, and one of three WW2-era guns I wanted to see in updated form. I have wanted a gun like the FG50 ever since playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein and getting a hold of its scoped FG42.

We actually planned on having a Tommy Gun in BW a long time ago. We even had it modeled and everything but it was lost when Glosmostinex had a hard drive crash. The red-tiger'd automatic camo of the SRS Mod-2 is actually my version of the BAR, since I also like that gun.

You won't lose any guns in the beta. The beta will likely just be an upload of the content I have on my computer right now. So expect a handful of finished guns and a royal buttload of prototypes!

I'd greatly prefer if you didn't remake my original designs, but if they influence your own designs that's awesome.

Well, in any case, M806 also makes for a nice 1911 stand in, even if the clip size is a little too big and body shots aren't powerful enough. (Headshots are very nasty with it though.)

Just wanna get everything straight, is or is not v10 weapon drops still available? and if they are where can i still get them, this bonus pack is ,imo, an essential and v10 had some of the best work yet

WD 4 and 5 contain all of the previous weapons drops too, so uninstall the old and install the new.

That's great to hear, sad on the other hand how the conflict turned out for the mod.
My only request here is that you take all the time you need to polish the pack as much as you can (fixing major bugs; balance issues ...) for this (last and final) pack so people can enjoy one hell of a mod when it's done.
And from what I've seen guys it's well worth the wait so even if it takes a year you won't regret it.

+ I hope Az's models make it too in that release because they're awesome.

You can decompile the Code, and change the materials that it uses. and then Compile again.

So I'm gonna take a wild guess, and say that SKWP v10 isn't going to be uploaded for a little while. Or until the full beta is released.

I still want to try out the Longhorn no matter how incomplete it is.

Actually, when it was added to Ballistic Pro, it was one of the most finished weapons of them all. Most are done and need little work.

Most new weapons are already in BallisticPro and pretty much finished. You can dl the offline version of BWPro.

Any word on this?

I prefer standard Ballistic Weapons and didn't like Ballistic Pro's movement/gameplay mechanics the last time I tried it.
