I'm sure there are better places to ask about this, but I'm too lazy to find another place right now.

I'm making some monsters for UT2004 for my own personal use, and I want to kind of randomize their size, but I don't really know coding very well.

I want to get a random number, 0.9 - 1.1, and be able to times this value by it's health, draw scale, speed, collision height and collision radius. That way each time one of the monsters is created, it will vary in health and speed, depending on how big or small it is (which would be different for each one).

If there's anyone here that would know how to do this, or knows where I can look to learn how to do this, could you email me or send me a private message?

I'm sure DarkCarnivour can give you a few tips on where to look for info, or maybe even give you an idea of how to do it.

What you are describing is the exact thing monster manager does with invasion monsters.

She was a moderator for a Unreal fourm in the past, than got sick of it and left it to Neilcellist.

The universe isn't in danger, my controlled area is only a small corner of the online digital world which is housed in a server computer.

What do we need more moderators for? I think the forums here manage to stay pretty well-organized despite there being only a few people with moderator privelidges. Especially compared to a lot of other boards I know.

There have been discussions of adding another moderator, but I don't see it happening because of that exact reason. If this mod and the community survive to the day BW gets released for UT2007, I think the community will grow to a massive size in no time and will need more moderators.

But that is a look into the far away future.

we'll see.. we've still gotta discuss it more with cyberax..
