Weird... I always get it. It works both ways, btw; whichever gun gets picked up first will block the other. Only with scroll select though. Another, perhaps related thing is that if you press F3, you'll see that all the RS8's kills get (wrongly) credited to the XRS-10. The RS8 always gets zero kills.



Well, strictly speaking it wasn't cheap, but this stuff is top notch so wtf. It's also a way of saying thanks for a great mod & keep up the good work. Without BW UT2K4 would be a lot less interesting.



You're right, number buttons do work. But scrolling should preferably work too.

Also, my vote is to leave ONxy out until he has atoned for his thread-bumping ways. No offense, but that was really annoying. And the Anime stuff too. But I'm not a Moderator, or RedShift, or RS, so my irritation likely has no effect on reality, and I'm fine with that. Just venting plasma.

RS (Runestorm) will soon in the future accept more "sponsors" for weapons.
This way, they can buy new hardware/software etc. so they can keep up and keep bringing you these (and more) kick-ass mods. By Sponsoring a (or more) weapon(s), you spend your money on RS's time and effort to make a weapon to your specifications Due to licensing, they can't sell you a weapon, so you essentialy pay for their time and work, to make sure you get the weapon you want to see in BW/JW.

Now, due to the demand this is going to create , we ask that you hold off until the devs let you know when they are taking "orders" again

They do still have work to do on the mod, and keep improving it, maps, vehicles etc. etc. so they are busy.
I will be putting a system in to place in the next month or so, so that you can see who's in the que, as well as some type of form, so that the devs get all the info they need to actually do the weapons.

Yeah, like some extra RAM for DC's hot new rig! Such a nice rig should have at least one gig. But SB's PC (nevermind the 3rd one)... would require WICKED SICK or at least Godlike donations I'm afraid. Man, I still can't believe you made such a fine mod on such crap gear, that alone deserves some kind of prize!



I'll probably be back for more, but it would certainly be nice if some others donated as well. Getting money into an e-gold account is actually pretty easy once you've found a good exchange service, no credit cards or even registration required.

What must have hurt? Having the teeth pulled? Wasn't that bad. . .The Anesthetic they used didn't actually keep me from feeling pain. . .more like kept the pain from causing involuntary reactions on my part. So I was quite aware of it, and there was a LOT of pain, but it wasn't that bad of an experience. The only part that really bothered me was when they had to cut of part of my jawbone. That was a really pleasant sound. . .

That and spitting up mouthfuls of blood over the next few hours after the surgery. And having to sleep in a recliner to keep blood pressure in my head down. And not being able to eat solid food for a day.

And having pathetic deathmatch skills while on Vicadin.

Well back on the talk of sponsoring weapons and Redshifts bonus pack, if i had to sponsor a weapon or 4 i'd choose the G36 series namely an assualt rifle G36 with a laser light (green or red) and a grenade luancher (or no greanade launcher which then i would ask them to make a G36C) thats a bit less powerful than the M50 but has more of an arch when shot and is just slightly shoots farther, A G36 sniper (yes they exist google it) and a Machine gun G36 thats kinda of in between the two present machine guns in terms of power, recoil and ammo.

And if they had more time of course i'd try to get them to either make a sonic detenator greande that tosses enemies in its greenish sphere blast away from it, or just blows them up. Or i'd want them to make a Desert eagle, nothing fancy with it, possible a laser sight but even that might make it seem like Redshifts 10mm RS8 pistol.

Well thats what i'd do.

i'd sponcer a BW weapons pack if i hadnt just spent all my money on a new intel mac ( american $1,480). well at least now i can play BW (no more 15 fps for me! gots me 120 MB of Vram)

If I had to sponsor a weapon. . .Probably the J55 Shard Cannon. And The Canister Gun.

I'd want a futuristic AR, the HL2 pulse gun or the Unreal 2 AR are good examples of what that weapon would look and operate like.

i've been playing UT2k4 again an now i've noticed it. needs fixing.

It can be fixed by using the Super weapon bar mutator, I have no idea where it is anymore, but it gave each weapom it's own category to make scrolling much handier.

Really, humm, i'll try seeing where it is.

Also i found a small bug with both the 10mm pistol and the Machine-Pistol, it seems that if you have the blue laser on (for either one) and you go into thrid person view, the blue laser isn't their, it doesn't show up.

And back to the weapons i'm starting to think after a lot of matches with the Machine pistol, that maybe, just maybe its a bit powerful... i'm getting Godlike for the first time in BW... than again they are just stupid bots.

bugs.. bugs bugs!! most or all will be fixed by new BW release, cause lotsa stuff we couldnt do without updating BCore and Ballistic system files so u'll have to wait for that release b4 they work properly..

small tip everyone, if u wanna sponsor a weapon, make sure its one u think we WONT be making e.g, a J55 Shard Cannon will probably be done by us, whereas a G36 is up for sponsoring

anyway, have fun with the weapon while we finish up the VERY awesome and XTREMELY fun flamethrower

I dunno, damage per shot seems ok; it's a .40 caliber weapon so it should do more damage than the 9mm XK2. Maybe accuracy could be decreased a bit if more people think it's overpowered, but only slightly so that it doesn't become useless.



Maybe you're just getting better at gaming. I regularly get wicked sick on godlike BW botmatch, but it took time to get that good. Also I still suck with regular 2K4 weapons, mostly because the bots have near perfect aim with them. Bots still don't fully 'get' things like recoil and chaos, though they're much better with the BW guns than they used to be. And they're very good with junk, so no Godlike for me in a JW-only match! I also get pwnd online a lot in regular matches... Maybe it would be different with BW gear, got to try that sometime.

Personally, I think the damage of the machine pistol if sine. The problem is it's too accurate for a machine pistol. The problem with making it innacurate is that it has a laser sight. So maybe tirning up it's chaos would make more sense. But I think it's damage per shot is fine.

The Shotgun seems perfectly balanced. It's quite powerful without being obnoxiously so, and the tazer is extremely useful for knocking people around.

The pistol. . .I'm in love with this thing. With it's burst feature, you can drop people with a singe burst at extreme range using the laser sight. I like this gun a lot, but the burst feature might be a BIT much. But I don't think it should be removed, RedShift payed for these weapons, and they have the features he wanted on them, and that shouldn't be changed.

I think it is overpowered too, not the damage p/bullet though.

By the way; bots are easy to beat when you know their pattern, if you don't know that pattern, you get pwned on higher difficulties.
