That gun looks very simple, but it'd be a good base for more detail.

it was a first attempt so if theres gonna be detail i'll redo the whole gun (when i have the time lol), so it comes out a lot better looking.

From the first 3 screenshots it looks like an uzi.

The other two, pretty good art work there.

eh, i gotta work on my shape.

yeah, iv'e decided to redo the pistol and start from scratch.

so far it looks better and i've added a scilencer ( ) , i plan to add detail too so looks like a real gun.

i've been working on this for about an hour thirty or more, what sucks is i have no idea how to code, animate, or texture.

well any ways it might not be up until tomarrow after i get back from school........

been working on this for several hours, the only thing i totally messed up on is that the chamber is in the wrong spot (needs to be scooted up a bit).

added a silencer, laser attachment, safety, hammer, better trigger case, better handle, ect.

this will most likely be in the game im slowly developing with a freeware engine for mac, pc compatibility should be here soon (with the engine).

leave a comment about my new pistol (dont mention the chamber is off i already figured that out, i cant fix it sadly w/o ruining the rest of the gun). it beats my sample pistold by 10x lol........

the pics with =out the silencer make the gun look like that magnum pistol from Halo.

lol yeah i noticed that too. (also theres no laser sight on the halo 2 magum)

im still resizing the silencer, gotta get it normal looking.......

what program u using?

a free program for mac, linux, and pc.

its called Wings3d, you can find it here: http://www.wings3d.com/

its pretty easy to use once you get use to it.

Aren't import/export abilities limited though?

i have no idea, all i know is that they work with the dim3 engine.

The program needs to be able to import/export into certain formats if you ever plan to model for a game. Maybe there are plugins like for 99.9% of programs out there so no worries.

btw, im working on another wep (non hand gun...) and a character skin.

i still havn't completed the pistol yet, im just messin around right now.......

heres a decently sized update from me.....

i still havnt colored or textured any thing, im kinda more worried about getting some models out first.

i worked on the pistol a bit but nothing really important......

well iv'e created most of a player model (its a sample model, nothing im really proud of), its undetailed and lacks some shape on certain parts of him. he needs hands and feet which shouldnt take to long...... (i'll post the pics of him when hes about finished)

iv'e completed a scoped rifle(/smg). it lacks detail (switches, stuff like that), but the base is all there. it lacks true shape but it came out pretty good for my first non hand gun model.

I'm going to contiue working on this model, its not supposed to be fully realistic but i at least want the basic features of a gun in there. btw, i know theres no trigger. i have to add that in later......

Not too bad. It kind of reminds me of the pulse rifle from Aliens for some reason.

i dunno, UED isnt for mac.... (im pretty sure)

if i ever got a nice working model out i might have to send it to the RS team if they are up for it.... (not implying they are the only way lol... i dunno)

but like i said way back....

this is kinda for a small project i'll be working on for some time.
