I don't know... EA is a bit crappy, I guess. Never put much thought into it... All I know is that they FLOOD the place with lousy ass stinkin sport games! What next, a push-up simulator game?

I'm not so sure I'm very skilled at choosing good angles to take screenshots from RTSs. I guess practice is what I need to do.

Well just use the angel its at when ingame and try having it zoom out as far as you can (in settings menu).

And yes it is incredibly sexy, even on my system.

I saw a trailer of Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Coruption, and i saw a ewok that walked up to a group of rebels and blew up! Its highlarious!

Okay i think i'm getting obsessed with Lego Star Wars II, i just can't stop playing it. I have completed 60% of the game and still pushing it. Its so simply and fun, just can't help myself. i must get to 100%, i must!

oh and for those who don't know Age of Empires III The WarChiefs comes out on the 17 this month, gotta go get that.

You addicted to Lego Star Wars, too? I got thinking it might be a little fun, but overall it'd lose interest in me fast, but I was surprised at the simplicity and enjoyability of it.

What's so fun about Lego StarWars? It looks very dull to me...

Well for one thing, i love Lego, i have a huge castle (like 4 feet wide by 6 feet long and with two walkways above eachother. I've been building that baby for God knows how many years. And to top it off i have two huge lego armies to use for fighting. So as you can see i like lego, and now theirs a vidoe game based on my two loves Star Wars and Lego, so i find it really awesome.

On current 360 news, I saw some awesome gameplay trailers from Stranglehold for the 360, and holy crap Birdman it looks amazing! Its based on some movie done by John Woo, but i've never seen any of his films but he is supposed to amazing. Still the game is amazing looking, so much distruction, its amazing! Just tried Medieval II Total War Demo, and it barely runs. I hate my PC, i really need to get a get an upgrade to keep me alive till the end of the first quarter 2007.

Its very good though, i got it to run okay, didn't run as good as Rome Total War, but then M 2 TW uses Direct X 9c, lots of lighting and stuff of like. realyl need a new PC, i think i'm going to reinstall RTW and play that instead.

I'm gonna buy AoE3 TW, and i can't wait!

Why don't you just force DX8 effects? Most games have that as an option for FX-users.

couldn' find it under the settings, it only had Shaders then version 1 or version 2, i put it on 1 i'll try it again and see i i can find it.

Well F.E.A.R is coming out for the 360 on Tuesday (Halloween), so I'm going get buy it, and i just can't wait, i re played the demo again (on low graphics) on my PC and i got through it all, the game is seems pretty good.

And for other news, i still haven't bought AoE3 TWC yet, i have no clue why i haven't bought it yet, but the reviews all seem good 4.5 out of 5's and stuff like that. Hopefully i buy it pretty soon.

Also back to news on M2TW, the game still runs bad on my PC, I'm still thinking on whether to buy it or not, i really want to, but i have the graphics set on low which make it look horrible.

Also Bjossi, hows AoE3 been to you? Did you buy it or are you still playing the demo? Have you tried The WarChiefs demo yet? I haven't cause i already know I'll buy it.

i wish fear was for mac =( i could probably run it on medium-high settings fine (just my guess). it would be one of the first games i would buy.......

o and the FEAR full mp was released for free some weeks ago, at least i couldv'e played that........

what engine does fear run on btw?

Fear runs on an engine called JupiterEx, I wouldn't expect to run it well on high settings, maybe medium though.

thats a really cool name for a game engine.

wish it got ported to mac....

*Gaming Update*

Alright i rented Dead Rising for the next week, and all I can say is it is so awesome. Using a chainsaw to ripe a zombie is half is way too cool. The only thing I don't like is that it took me 4 times starting a new game and finding a walkthrough to finally understand how the damn game works. I never even knew you that you had to do a lot of back tracking.

Its still fun as hell though. the shovel rocks, if you press B you smack zombies with it and they fall to the ground, then if you hold B you can smash the shovel downward into the ground on a zombie cutting him in half or cutting his leg off. Oh and it seems that drinking any liquid (wine, orange juice) restores more health then eating a apple or pie. That makes no sense. IF that worked in really life, well i dunno life would be messed up.

*Dead Rising Update*

Okay, i've had it up to my head in thsi retardness of Dead Rising! The game (as James so nicely put it) is RETARDED!! Like here's my situation. I have to fight this mexican dude at 6 am (in the game), but it turns out that meele weapons are useless cause he has a frickin 50 cal sniper rifle! So i go grab a SMG from a fountain, which wastes half an hour of time and grab a pistol of two from some zombie cops. Then a backtrack to to dude and fight him. Nows he's dead, Yippie! But guess what my ally (Brad) gets shot in the leg (by a 50 cal sniper rifle) and can't really walk (...WTF?). Then he gets a fever from the bullet (again... WTF), sp i have to grab some medicen from the store (located on the other side of the mall). Now its 10 am (stupid backtracking for SMG's), i get to the damn place and with an SMG (the new one) kill some crazy boss dude with knives on his shopping cart. after that its like 11 or so am. I head back and save my progress at 12 am, then give Brad his medicine at 1 pm and find out that the next case starts at 11 am, so now i'm BONED!!!

How stupid is that, i really am starting to hate games with time limits or at least the time should pass slower, cause your in a mall for 72 hours so that should ammount to 30 hours or so of gameplay for just the story, instead its (from what i recall from a review) like 10 hours. real stupid.


*Game Update*

My sister (yes i have one) bought The Sims 2 Pets today, and I'm cool with this even though she can only play it on my PC (her PC sucks, it has some integrated GPU). But the cool thing is that unlike the orignal game, with this expansion pack, you can actually destroy (remove) existing walls and other foundations from existing buildings which wasn't possible in The Sims 2. So now i'm all happy!! I think there is gonna be much playing of this game to come in the coming weeks (before i buy AoE3 The WarChiefs).

Recent integrated graphics accelerators are much faster than a FX 5200...

well its a really crappy PC, like less then 800 dollars Canadian. And yes we tried it on her PC, and runs but barely like 15 to 22 frames on high better on low. Plus i don't really mind the game, its pretty fun. I made a kitty!!

It must be ancient old then, since nowdays $800 CNDs would give you a PC that runs Sims 2 smoothly no matter what you do to improve the settings.

What is so appealing about Sims anyways? It looks very dull to me, and plays like that too when I tried many years ago.

i don't know, its kinda fun. But my sis likes it cause it has no violence in it (or barely any)

also i think my dad bought my sisters PC for like 500 CND not 800, cause he bought it just so she could surf the internet and other basic stuff, no gaming.

oh and it seems that Gears of War has come out today, which seems odd since i could have sworn it was coming out on the 17th. And it seems to have gotten good reviews. I'll make a review in 2 weeks once i get it.

*Gaming Update*

As some might know from a post of mine on another thread, i have gotten Gears of War last Saturday, and well it kicks royal ass. Haven't finished it so i can't give my complete thoughts on it yet.

Also i finished off playing Dead Rising for the week (had it rented from Friday to Friday) and well its good, i managed to figure out what i did wrong last time, namely taking the long way through the mall. Then when i got back i had to fight a ton of yellow rain jacketed psychos bent of killing this women. It was fun.

Oh and i may be able to some time in the future be able to have my Xbox 360 on the internet, wireless of course, but even better is that if the connection from my wireless router's single(in my bedroom upstairs) is good enough from the upstairs to the basement i could possible get Xbox Live Gold, and be able to play GoW or Halo 2 online!!! But my Dad says most likely we need another router on the main floor, even though the basement as of now gets 18 to 14 mbps (mega bytes per second) this is because of a new boaster antennae we setup in my room since my sisters small antennae broke over the week, so we just put the DLink antennae on hers and bought a bigger one for the real router!!
