I could have sworn it was either Casomyr or Redshift who wanted it primary. I doubt Bjossi would have wanted it primary, too small of a gun for that status.

Like where the sun don't shine, for example... Actually, the XK2, aka H&K MP5, is one of my favorite BW guns. Often put it in more than one slot (with WoRM) before I sponsored my own stuff. Just a nice, clean, no-BS general purpose weapon.



I'm not sure whether I actually suggested making it primary, though I do think it's a bit too powerful for putting it in the sidearm class. Size doesn't matter; what the XK2 lacks in DP/shot, it more than makes up for in magazine capacity, rof, and accuracy. With some skill you can easily pwn someone armed with an M50. But, I don't use Loadout much so it's not really an issue.

Nay for UMods for me, I prefer having the least of control over what is installed. :

How about both UMOD and ZIP? I'd like to have where I can see what files I'm exactly adding in, that way later, I can go and copy those certain files to other UT2004 folders, such as Killing Floor, so I don't have to worry about spawning them in since my mutator list doesn't have BW for some reason. That would also help for knowing what files to delete for, say, BW2.5, or BW2.6, when the time comes around.

Thanks to James we will get a ZIP, since Macs don't handle UMods well as far as I've heard.

I like zips. If the mod screws up, then you know you installed it wrong.

Alright to get out of this zip file chit chat i have to ask 2 things.


#1: Has the bug in 1.72 in which you can still have the mine (not the one with the laser) in your hands even though you have no ammo been fixed yet?

#2: i think Bloody Hell needs a box to check off whether or not we want bodies to be gibbable AFTER you die!

they work most of the time.......
but there are some weird cases where the umods just wont unpack =/ (especially on the new intel macs)

They are going to add the feature of players/bots not gibbing by bullet weapons if that's what you mean.

yea guess its redundant with this addition. still it would be cool once dead your body can be gibbed. I've fixed the sentencing with it to make more sense.

That reminds me of duke nukem where you could make a mess out of the corpse.

The only reason i think it should be added is cause i find it stupid how you just riddled that dude with bullets or you M50 grenaded him (without him blowing up) and you can't drop another grenade on him that blows him up into an even bigger pile of blood and gore.

That's true, and if you could fire at a body with a bullet weapon and it emits extra blood everywhere.

i like my enemies to blow up if a G5 rocket hits them after there dead.

I'm not entirely sure who said it, but I thought maybe it was BJossi, but after looking for a post stating that I had no luck. All I know is that someone did say it.

Also, why in the world would that be a bad thing if it was a primary weapon?! It would be no different in funtionality, the only difference would be that you couldn't start with it if you were using it in regular Swapper mode. Loadout and everything else it would be identical.
