I'm making a convert map of ONS-Dria. The largest ONS map in the game (unless others made bigger )
It will be perfect for the Ballistic Sniper rifle and other scoped stuff. It's very large and I've spreaded alot of startpoints around, also there are weaponbases around the map so there is always some ammo for the campers

Bots will wander around their startpoint or walk normal pathnodes that already existed in the map. Vehicles aren't included, so you have to walk all that way long. And believe me... it's a far way walking from one end to another.
Best is to do with alot of players and snipe in the forest This map is great for Team Deathmatch too, and most fun is if you play with other human players. Because they are alot smarter than bots in such map to sniper.

Actually bots can snipe too, but they need special defense points that tell them to snie there, then you need one more for each point to have them only use sniper weapons if wanted.

Also, is it done yet? I'd love to try it out!

Should I add those sniping points first or should I publish it when I wake up tomorrow?

Sounds.... interesting. I just hope my computer could run the 32 bots and BW at the same time (it is old). And, as far as Dria being the biggest map....... I think that only ONS Mothership can beat it in size, maybe (I just know that it drags on my computer).

ONS-MaelStorm is bigger, i'm pretty sure. It has 23 nodes!

Yeah but that one is home made map.
And the distance between each node is not that far.

I did Last Man Standing with 31 bots and with all scoped weapons I had. Including BW, UT2004, MyWeapons, U4E (sux). At first it was fun, but when there were 6 bots left hiding somewhere in the woods, I went cheating to search for them.
Type these things if you can't find enemy's:
:Rmode 1
:Ghost
:Slomo 10

and fly up in the sky untill the fog has no effect on you, fly around above the map and look for Yellow things going spastic in the woods. That is a bot. Type in this:
:Rmode 5
:Walk
:Slomo 1
Somewhere a bit off, sneak to the bot, and give him a headshot.

It might be too big a file. Try Zipping it too, since the site only allows zips for stuff like this.

I think that ONS to DM conversions are a good idea. Personally, I wouldn't mind a conversion of ONS Arctic Stronghold. Talk about you Vertical Axis combat.

Most of those ONS maps are pretty fun in invasion, with or without the vehicles. Might be pretty cool to see some time.
