Hey guys, LOVE The weapons i play on the Hedsteem servers and very often at that.

This past saturday i went out and bought the Logitech G15 gaming keyboard because it was on sale.

As you may know it has a LCD screen in the top that for some games displays ammo count.
It works with UT2004 BUT only normal weapons, for Ballistic it shows the ammo names but the count is always 0.

I was wondering if with your amazing abilities you might somehow be able to make something that would allow the G15 LCD display to display the ammo counts for the various Ballistic Weapons.

The UT2004 Patch 3372 is the "Logitech G15 Patch" that enables the LCD display to pick up the ammo types.

If you can pull this off i think it would be nothing short than another impressive display of your amazing skills.

DC could just take a look at how 3372 makes this possible, and he could use it for the BW weapons.

I didn't know 3372 was out, by the way...

Patch 3372 only for the G15 users, when you go to install the patch, it comes up with a notice that says something along the lines of "This patch is only for those people who own a Logitech G15, this patch does nothing more than add support for the G15, If you do not own a G15 this patch does not do anything for you."

But if it can be done it would be awesome, whether it is a separate download or if they include it in Ballistic 2.0 . Either one would be awesome

I'm not the only G15 user over at Hedsteem. To my knowledge the G15 Users are Me, Deathblade, and JDMon

Still just some "Fancy Pants" keyboard to you? my FAVORITE feature, is the switch that DISABLES THE WINDOWS KEY!

Heh, tell me about it. I also like the fact that you can have 54 macros per game, three sets of 18 . LCD screen is also nice for using Xfire / Ventrilo. Allows me to see who's talking on Vent, Very handy because i dont have to guess whos talking anymore, all i do is look down at the LCD screen and i see "Rcv: Wup" if he's talkin.

G15 sounds sexeh, but I don't need it since I never press the Windows key nor do I play online.

Well, i guess its not for everyone, but if you do play online or are annoyed by the windows key when playing a game, i love the keyboard to death.

Why is the Windows key annoying? It doesn't do anything when I press it in any game but the old ones.

tried getting this patch.. friggin thing took over an hour and didnt finish!! will have to try again

The windows key is so annoying in ut because when I'm playing online I press it by accident and then my windows start menu pops up and I get disconnected from the server

Yeah If your a Standard Player...

No It Just brings the Start Menu Up Minimizing UT.


There Are registry Entries that you can google to disable it.

any progress on the g15 ballistic patch yet?

Bah "The Screensavers" (old techTV show) showed me how to fix that AND the caps lock key without new hardwere

eh, i still like the G15, and for $54 instead of $100, you sure cant beat it.

$54 for a keyboard is a ripoff, I have had mine for 6 years and it costed me less than $1.
