The install entries are stored in a manifest file, so it's not very odd that formatting the OS drive still keeps the umod installs intact.

But I will always prefer zips, easy to use and I have control over what files go into the folder.

When doing Minesweeping, always go and place the same mine in the same place, the same way the owner did origianlly. Chances are, that said owner will see the mine and say (Oh hey, my mine's still there... huh...) and then when getting it, they'll not know it's really been hijacked and they will explode massively.

Place an M50 camera near a mine (not in exploding range). Then only use the M50 and hide somewhere. Then... watch...

Chucking out FP9A5s and wildly clicking the detonator can lead to interesting results.

#37a: Always make sure you turn off the laser before throwing satchel bombs. (I've blown myself up more than once by stepping on my own laser as soon as it unexpectedly activates)

#38 Arm your entire brigade with SRS9000 Battle Rifles. That way any threat can be taken out at ease.

In online play, have your team all take battle rifles, and in singleplayer mode, try making all the bots huddle around you and near a SRS9000 spawn, and toss it to them one by one. It would be complicated. And about the experience, I blasted 5 shots into a Goliath and it flew 5 feet into the air.

#55 Dual Fifty-9's are the best for close combat. You can mow down a couple of enemies without reloading inbetween, and if you're out of ammo you can always hack the enemy to pieces.

#56: The Fifty-9's have the coolest looking muzzleflash of all the guns.

#57: Assault Pistols never run out of ammo once you've found an ammo pack. Literally, you will obtain most of it's ammo from one pack...

#58: ...Though unsurprisingly a steady flow of ammo is needed if you plan to dual wield them.
