I don't really get your point, deuxhero. Are you saying that Oblivion and IW have something in common because they suck crap on the consoles? I know what you mean. But put Oblivion on a computer with godlike specs, and download Actors in Charge, Actors in Madness, OOO, MMM, MOE, and a bunch of other great mods and you can get hooked to the comp for days.

You know what I really want for the Deus Ex series? The Black Mesa treatment. (For those who don't know, it's Half-Life completely remade for the Source engine.)

Maybe. But I'd rather have something new in the same franchise. And a prequel would be awesome, seeing the buildup towards the events of the original game.

I'm pretty nostalgic about the original game, and I don't REALLY want it remade on a newer engine, but if it ever was, I'd play it religiously.

You do that. Heck, get yourself a copy of the original DX off of ebay or amazon or something. I'm sure you could find it for $10. The thing has more replayability than any FPS I've ever seen.I make it a point to play it every 6 months, and I still find new things every time.

Not only have I played it, but it is one of my all time favorite games. Anyone who hasn't played it has a reason to cry all day.
